  1. Please PGM this Darth Vader 3. Once more, Brazilian. There is one small non color breaking tick on cover that is not really visible on the photo, no matter how hard I try to show it. Still, I tried to circulate it in two photos. There are a few even smaller ones. On the back cover there are other ticks, this time color breaking. I circulated two them on one photo. In another photo, a 0.2 inches color tear is highlighted in the back cover
  2. Please, PGM this Brazilian ASM 298. In photos number three and four, I took the liberty of circulate some creases:
  3. I don't think the US collecting comic book market will ever "crash". Crash means a sudden fall and I don't think it will ever happen, unless there is big crash that brings the entire US economy down. But, by its own, it won't happen. What will happen is a long and fairly steady decline. But it will not be now, still too many collectors in theirs middle 30's to middle 50's for it to happen anytime soon. All the speculation related to movies will make prices to continue to go up for quite a long time too. However signs of this long decline already exists since a quite good time. The printing numbers of US comics are vastly inferior to what it used to be (and have been since a good time, I think). Any records about industry profit are likely to be related to the increased price of individual comic books and also to an increase in popularity of tpbs, manga and independent sales. In the end, when many of the current collectors pass away or just retire of actively collecting, the prices will slowly go down. AC1, DC 27 will resist much better than 100.000 copies ASM 298, 300, 316...
  4. Nice to know. I envy the Paypal charges Nice to know too. Unfortunately, I am not used to receive international packages, so I cannot tell about problems with our customs. From comments of people that buy electronics, problems are not uncommon.
  5. From $2, if the package goes on economic shipping and weight less than 100 grams, to possibly more than $100, if using some premium, ultra fast shipping option and it is a big, heavy package. For the "usual" situation of one, two, perhaps three mildly cheap comic books shipped, a normal package that weights between 100 and 250 grams and has tracking added, it would probably cost around $8. Insurance in this case is limited to 30R$ (about $6 currently). For an expensive package, so I could have full insurance on it, I would probably use a $35 to $40 option ( plus 1.5 to 2% fee over the total cost to cover the insurance cost). Brazil tax exchange rate varies by up to 2-3x over long time periods, so all these values could became obsolete, especially the cheaper ones. I added pay-pal cost to these values, which is about 11% on Brazil. (6.5% fee + 4.5%, mainly due to the bellow than normal tax exchange rate used to pay the seller)
  6. I never was able to sell anything on this board, but I would easily ship any item to Antarctica in case the buyer lives there.
  7. Congrats on the Gibi Mensal 81A. Cool cover, hopefully I will find a copy one these days. About Gibi 142/Gibi Mensal 4, tell me: Where did you get such nice images of it, especially the inner page one? By the way, in case you don't know, these exists:
  8. My recommendation: Buy it (if you can)! Anyone noticed that it has three staples? Now I am curious about the other books. Which are in the mix?
  9. Not all of them are BW. Depends on the publisher and whether it's a regular edition or an annual one. For Timely, all or nearly are probably BW. International licensing was involved, one cannot keep doing this for years, even for decades, illegally. Publishers just didn't know or simple didn't care. I am fairly sure they didn't receive a copy of the vast majority of international editions. And even if they did know, they possibly wouldn't care. The books would never show up in the US anyway and probably only a few people were involved in international licensing. IMO, they are often better, wheter being partial redraws of the original cover like this... ....or inspired from an interior panel (or more than one) like these: The above MM40 redraw was made by Gutemberg "Guto" Monteiro, that would in future, work on Creepy, Eerie and Tom & Jerry dailies. Apparently there is a guy that have some of his OA. By the way, there is certainly more than five copies of this Globo n°43.
  10. 1994 was also the year I started to follow super-hero stuff, with this one here: Our Wolverine 79 is this one (from 96):
  11. War is Hell n°10. Also in good shape, perhaps a little less. F+ or perhaps F+/VF. $5.5
  12. Detective Comics 272. Also a quite low grade comic book. Somewhat better. Around 1.8 I guess? $6
  13. Hello. Some rules. 1) Shipping cost to North America can go from $3 to $40. A good middle term option for the books that I am listing here is a $8 option (valid for 1 to 2 books, perhaps 3). For more books than that is $13 and if one wants far more, from $18 and up. 2) I do accept returns, but shipping return cost is up to the buyer, unless some unexpected defect shows up or some damage happens due to the packaging. One should manifest about returning in seven days after receiving it. I will return the value after the return is complete. 3)Payment can be done through pay-pal, or perhaps other ways. 4) I do sell through Ebay, but you can add extra %10 for doing so. An ebay sale has one nice advantage, in that it allows full tracking, instead of the partial tracking that the middle term option offers when shipping to North America. 5)Feel free to ask me for more photos.
  14. Two interesting auctions that closed a few days ago: This n°2 seems a real bargain By the way, I read not too long ago THE Disney story that's fits perfectly this thread. A comic book collecting story! Exceptionally good stuff good IMO.
