  1. You sure can't accuse the Black Angel of being one o' them anorexic yet over-endowed superheroines that dominate the genre.

Those thighs! That -- uh, occasional abdominal bloating!

Here's the splash page from #12, she's kind of scary with that ax!

OMG, you are right, she's premenstrual!!

(see, I can say that, without fear of retaliation... ;) ! I found someone else to post last night, but I lost her today, I wish I could remember who it was

  2. I don't usually post my covers

Glad you did. Those Planets were beautiful. :cloud9:

Thank you...Sometimes, I forget what I have hidden in these boxes...it's fun to what the thread and say "I HAVE THAT"

Of course mine look like distant cousins, lol...but it's fun...

Sharon, I didn't realize you collected Planet Comics, too.

Great looking books you have there. :cloud9:

I didn't recognize the cover to #8. You'd think after looking at the Photo-Journal and various websites so often that I'd have all the comics memorized by now. lol

Thanks Bangzoom :hi: : I have a quite a few Planets, but they are in various stages of disrepair, lol...That #8, is scarce, I think...I got that set from a very nice person, who also sold me some Science books...most of the others I have are later versions...I love books with brilliant colors, I'm not JUST a Wonder Woman collector,..that was only an accident, and I got hooked:)

I don't usually post my covers, I just enjoy admiring everyone else's cloud9: ...but it's a lot of fun on some of these threads, and thanks:)

  4. Thanks to all for the posts so far! I'm loving these. :applause:

Can someone give me a quick rundown on the Venus character? She started as a scifi (powered superheroine?) character?...and then the title evolved into horror in the early 50s? Love to see an early panel page if someone has one.

She was very Sci Fi in the beginning, I always think of her, and Moon Girl as the same type, but that's probably more a name thing...Scrooge posted a page:)

Marvel recently revived Venus as a superhero in Agents of Atlas, although they did something weird with her. Still, it's nice to see they're bringing back some of the GA characters.

Another nice book, BTW. :applause: Do you have the complete set?

Thank you:) and thanks to anyone else who said something nice:) I missed a few posts.

I have a bunch of Venus's, but they were really hard to find...I stopped looking for them a few years ago, but I think I need to start again:)

I DO have most of the Moongirls, and a Full story I posted on another link a few months ago, if I can find the picture, I'll post it here.
