maybe I am a bit crazy, but I actually liked Robs art from the early/mid 90's, I am not sure what happened but his later art somehow looks terribly bad? I mean I like his NM and Xforce run, but everything now looks terrible bad. I even liked his deadpool back in the day, but even now he seems to have changed his style for worse. Just looks at deadpool on the cover of NM 98 and deadpool now. Am I crazy? was it all just as bad?

How long does it stay in the Grading/Quality control phase?

I have a Batman 423 not graded that I had Jim Starlin Sign at a convention years ago, if I send it for Todd Sig, will it come back green/yellow label? or can they do yellow label and for Jims sig just say, name written on cover like I've seen them do for other comics?

thats super strange. Are you out of the country? sometimes there are weird quirks with value/weight or prepayments with shipping companies that result in this type of thing.
nope, in the US

fair enough. why are they coming back separately? were they not on the same invoice? Did you opt for pressing on one or both comics? Did CGC mention any specific issues in the delay?
No Idea why they are sending separate, they were all on same invoice, but this has always happened with the SS I have submitted, they all come separate.

are turnaround times that bad? or is just a matter of bad communication? I don't mean that as a defense, bad communications might be purposefully misleading as well. BUT from what I've seen, AFTER the date of the signing, assuming you give them 2-4 days to get the books back to CGC and sorted, the turnaround times are pretty close to 6 weeks.
My reference is the Jim Lee signing. I believe it happened around November week 1, and while I obviously don't know everyone who got a book signed, every I know or saw on the boards got their books back within 7 weeks, most of them actually shipped out in 4-5 weeks. Have other people been getting their books back much longer than 6 weeks after the signing occurs?
I know that some people are complaining that the signings are happening later than expected, but that's a different issue (and should be addressed), but we should make sure we're addressing the issues that actually need to be addressed, and should probably be clearer in the advertisements.
Also note: this is specifically regarding the signings where they explicitly advertise six-week turnaround. The normal comic submissions are boned. Which goes to my point again, I understand general complaining, but if we're complaining about a problem that actually isn't a problem because we're overgeneralizing, the problems that actually need solving don't get the attention.
Edited to add: people seem to be getting their Jock books back this week from the 12/8/21 signing. Which seems in the range to me. But I admit anecdotal. Maybe other people have other experiences that haven’t been reflected where I’ve been looking.
I submitted two books to JL signing, got one about 2-3 ago, they other one is still and grading/qualitycontrol/encapsulation

I understand things happen and can stretch for a bit more, but actual times have been at least triple that time.

Is it possible that double pressing can Improve a grade? I sent a comic first time and got it pressed and got a 9.6, later I sent in again for another signature, got it pressed again and got a 9.8. Is it worth to press a comic as many times as possible?

Thank you for your reply. For I am not 100% positive if I did end up writing the Initials on the sides of the boxes this time. The signatures that I sent for were Simmonson x1 and Lee x2. Is there still enough time before those signatures?

So back in early June I submitted a comic and within 3 days of delivery CGC updated on my profile that my comic was receive. A few weeks ago I submitted 3 more comics for signature series, according to my USPS Priority Mail tracking it says they got deliver on June 29th, however on CGC nothing is showing as received. I sent an email, but the reply was that sometimes it might fall thru the cracks with so many comics they are receiving and I should go by my tracking number. However its been two weeks since delivery and still now showing and received by CGC on their site. I am getting a little worried, What can I do?

No the sig will be legit. You'd get a Green for the missing tattoo. The example I posted is from CGC's website for a book that has 2 sigs on it, one not verified, so not relevant to your situation.
Gotcha, thank you. How desirable are these yellow/green labels on the resell market? is it worth it?

thank you! so it would say name written on cover in marker?

If I send ASM 238 to be signed by John Romita Jr to the event, but my version does not have the tatooz, what color label with it get?

Mega Con Orlando just announced that Con will be Reschedule for October on Halloween weekend and will be limited to 25,000 tickets, existing tickets will carry over unless you ask for refund before May 31st.
My questions is this, what will happen to this signing event? will it get pushed to October? Should we still send out our comics to CGC this month? or will it get cancelled?

Frank Miller has always been the most expensive artist sig and I would never pay those prices, specially considering his comics are not worth much, maybe if it was for sentimental value.

have mcfarlaned signed book prices plummeted?

So I can't get it graded in the bag, but removing it from the bag guarantees a lower grade... Basically, I'm screwed no matter what?
you can put it inside one of these:
