  1. Yeah, baby!!! Nice copy! Thanks for showing her off.
  2. Let's keep the participation coming... Must... see... more... Ward!!!
  3. Yes, thank you. Your painting is beautiful. It always blows my mind when you can tell a comic book artists' work instantly, even when it's an environment. The page is out of a story called "Freakshow". It debuted in Heavy Metal magazine in the early 80s, then was reprinted as its own collection of works (Freakshow), years later. I grabbed it because the artwork just screamed Berni, plus the attention to detail in the woodgrain of the wagon was astounding. I just picked this up recently, from my favorite Wrightson cover issue, as well. It's the Swamp Thing Prototype from House of Mystery 195. Always nice to find out how many Master of the Macabre collectors are out there. To me, he really is the GOAT amongst comic artists. Hopefully someday, I'll be able to obtain a Frankenstein page... his masterclass in pen and ink. Enjoy.
  4. Original art page for House of Mystery 195. Aside from being my favorite Bernie Wrightson cover, this issue contained a story called "Things Old, Things Forgotten" which has multiple panels of the Moss Beings. These creatures were drawn and created prior to House of Secrets 92, but not used until months after. That's why this issue is notated "Swamp Thing Prototype". Just got this piece in and I'm overjoyed to own such a cool piece of comic history by The Master of the Macabre. Enjoy.
  5. Forbidden promotion... no such thing. Let's see em.
  6. Aside from having an outstanding Frazetta cover, this magazine also contains the first published work of the incomparable Bernie Wrightson. I have more copies than I probably deserve, but this is a very undervalued magazine and should never be sitting around at these kind of prices.
  7. Still in purgatory. Conan will get made eventually, and I understand that Netflix is working on MULTIPLE Conan projects, but none are solid, as of yet. Jennifer Salke (head of Amazon Prime video) made sure that she killed Conan and shipped it to Netflix because of "Toxic Masculinity". She then released Wheel of Time and made sure it was even more Feminist, just to make sure there was no "Toxic Masculinity". She needed a show to compete with Game of Thrones. I'm super glad at how that worked out for her. Here's some more Toxicity for ya Salke... just upgraded my first appearance of Thulsa Doom. Monsters on the Prowl 16. What a beauty.
