  1. I'll start off with this beauty. Spicy Western Stories April 1938 GUNSMOKE GULCH
  2. A dedicated thread to the Ward covers you own. Let's only list what we have, and see if we can collectively get to all 200 plus covers from his body of work. It'll also be interesting to see who's holding what. So, please, no internet uploads of books we don't have, just pictures of the covers we own from the master!!!
  3. That issue of Horror Stories is in my top 20 for sure.
  4. That's the prettiest copy I've seen of that book. Ever.
  5. Really need 20, but if pressed... these would be my 10.
  6. No question. A non restored Savage 1 in VG/F with no resto closed for the same or less money, just 6 months ago. That is a MASSIVE swing.
  7. The issue of Doc Savage that sold last night had glued tear seals, so I don't think that falls under the blue label category.
  8. Bookery was shattered on the majority of books at auction last night.
  9. One day sale starts now. Take 10% off of these remaining books!!! Premium pulps at a discount? You're welcome. Still some really good books in here. I will close the sale at 8pm Pacific this evening, and the offer will expire at that time. I will be checking messages intermittently throughout the day.
  10. Biggest take away from any pulp infinite should be... HJ WARD is a cut above everything else. There is more rarity, might even be more gruesome, but nobody painted like Ward. Oh yeah, and pulps can be very tough to come by. Patience is the word of the day.
  11. Big Dog Willy taking the top book again. Anyone surprised?
  12. That's all she wrote for tonight folks, as always, thanks to all participants and onlookers. I know half of you, half as much as I should like, and I like half of you, half as much as you deserve. Until the next one!!! Send final PMs and I'll get to them as soon as I can. I ALSO like trades, so if you don't want to pop for one of these beauties, payment is also welcome in comic and pulp form. Thanks again for everything. Y'all make this a great place to spend time.
  13. Last one for the evening is in such good shape, I shouldn't be offering it. If there is such a thing as near mint in pulps, this one's close. Gorgeous black horror cover. Dime Mystery Magazine February 1936 VF+ $2,500 SOLD TO @Comcav
  14. A very tough HJ Ward cover, early in the run. Classic bug eyed beauty. You dont see this casino cover every day. Can be drastically improved by taking the non color breaking crease out of cover. Just a good looking book. Spicy Detective Stories February 1935 Fine - $2,200
  15. One of the creepier shudder pulp covers Startling Mystery Feb 1940 Fine - $1,820
  16. Next up is a nightmarish HJ WARD Cover. Gorgeous color and presentation up front, but water party in the back smeared the ink everywhere. Downgraded accordingly. Spicy Mystery Stories Feb 1937 VG- $1,650
  17. OK Guys and Ghouls. Gimme a short break and we'll put up the 4 bangers. Big books coming. Tough ones!!! Say 6:15pm sharp the next book will go up!!! Thanks... see you in a couple.
