Went to Colorado this weekend for my final moving load and drove back. Decided to check Craigslist (I have about a 0.01% expectation of finding anything there now). To my surprise, the poster had a small vintage TableTop grouping for sale. But I noticed that it had been posted since July, so I thought there was no chance of it being available. Contacted the poster and heard back a day later. Poster said not one person had contacted her and they were available. I still cannot believe that. I told her that I'd be there in 2 weeks which understandably made her leary. A day later, she said I could buy them if they were still available. A day later, the posting disappeared. I was crushed. But I reached out anyway and it turns out the posting feel off of CL but hadn't sold. Jackpot! Zoom up to this weekend and we met. They all worked (video and sound!). Got them for a very good price. Thought I'd post one. If people want to see more, I can post. Not mint condition. Slight sticker wear, some scratches on one. I'm thinking some are Canadian release as they have French on the buttons (but oddly English on the screen). Guessing that devalues them. This is my favorite. The graphics of Mario are so good. Wow, sizeable X-men haul. What's the deal with the bagged X-men in Christmas stockings? Is that just for sounds/noises? I got a solid chuckle out of the company called Comic Images (Image Comics). I'm going to start one called Comic Marvels. I really like that Jim Lee action figure case. Definitely 80s-inspired with some cool art. Not one I've seen in-person. Any chance the comic came with the board game? Patrick

Went to a garage sale this weekend. Picked up some smaller items. 2nd Bigfoot in the past 6 months. Pretty good shape, runs great. No battery cover or key. 2 boxed MASK items are really nice. Complete, great shape, figures with helmets, instructions, baggies, accessories, etc. Biggest bummer is the guy sold a bunch of other MASK items from the same collection the week prior. Patrick

It's a good question. I don't know what to do with 95% of my collection since I moved. So it's sat in a room for 4 months. My MOTU and some Joes are in file cabinets (in their plastic casings). Other Joes and Star Wars are in long boxes (also in their plastic casings). But I have a bunch that I don't know what to do with. Many, many more vintage Star Wars, Joes, original TMNT, Food Fighters, etc. Patrick

Copper's Heating/Selling Well on Ebay

Many Facebook Lives are based on the same premise. Little time to think, many people throwing bids at it in a frenzy, going WELL over the value, etc. For a seller, this is great news. For the buyer, it's a bit foolish. It's really killing the collecting side for me. Patrick -
Moderns that are heating up on ebay!

Really hit or miss for me. WE3 was fantastic. X-men was so odd at the time, but it was a good odd. But much of the recent Batman run was awful, IMO. The Zur En Arrh was not my cup of tea. Patrick -
Wish I had known. I sold the second one to a local guy. He was nice, but a reseller. He actually got a nice chunk of change for it and it was semi-rough. If you're bored, this is a video/review of the toy. Looks like the cap action can really jack up the figure. It's no wonder so many have yellowed plastic. I definitely won't run caps thru this one. Dude, amazing. Most of them are unpunched. Pretty sweet shape. The Imperial Dignitary is one of the final 17 figures. Definitely desirable. There was a time where foreign carded Star Wars was a negative. But that is definitely not true now. The Lumat is interesting with the Mexico verbiage on the front. I don't recall one of my Mexico figures with that, but ours may have been released at different times. Patrick

This Week in your Collection - Moderns ONLY

The art in the Frost Giant's Daughter was pretty impressive. I wish they kept the same artist for the arc that happened after it. Patrick
