Yeah, I didn't explain well. The "fight" was a few weeks back. I went to buy it, 2nd buyer jumped in, ended up going for significantly more than I originally was going to get it for. I'm cool with it though. I haven't run across one yet, so I doubt I'll see a sealed version again. They are from the 80s. They did okay when they came out. But definitely more desirable today. Getting a full set is not the easiest. The weapons can be a super pain. A person would think they are easy from a condition perspective. But they are a super pain. The heat sensitive rubs are constantly missing, they get paint rubs pretty easily, many get discolored/dirty (especially white), etc. Patrick

Any 70s/80s toys? Patrick

I thought Manifest Destiny had a real shot at being a spec book. It ended up being a pretty shallow story. They clearly hadn't thought very far ahead and every arc was just another "creature". Patrick

East of West should have a chance some day. If optioned and down appropriately, it could be killer. But that's a lot of what ifs. Black Science was a personal fav. Really loved that book. People tried to make Rat Queens something. It was for a couple months. For me, I'm glad I skipped it. I could not get into Sex Criminals or Descender. I tried for awhile, but dumped them. But I agree, they are books that likely don't have a spec future. Patrick

Books you just cant find in the Wild
followtheleader replied to fastballspecial's topic in Modern Age Comic Books
94 came out way later. And it was pretty expensive at release. It's been fairly common to find (for me). As FBS said, the others are super hard to find in nice condition. Patrick -
Thanks! It's only the 2nd Crystar boxed set I've seen. Box and set were nicer. He wanted to $800. Not for me. This playset is a real pain based on how it was made. Not sure if people have seen the Crystar dragon. That's another super hard piece due to the wings. Also, only the 2nd Blackstar box. It was surprisingly nice and much better than the 1st. I think it was more, but I'm already forgetting. Patrick

Fables,Fairest & Jack of Fables opinion
followtheleader replied to Toz's topic in Modern Age Comic Books
Fables = Fantastic Jack = I'd pass. Was intended to be comedic. I read it for quite awhile, but found it bore-ish. Fairest = I recall it being so-so. It might be one I'd re-read. Not comedic like Jack. Patrick -
I think the green rope is what Zartan used to pull his sled (when his bike is broken down). Patrick

Frustration in hunting and market observation

100% agreed. It got a bit like that here during the craydays (TM pending). But nowhere near the same level. Patrick -
Frustration in hunting and market observation

Overpaying on FB Live is rampant. It's easy to do in the auction format. I do partake, but am doing so less and less anymore. Claims sales are made to bypass condition. Not enough time to question it, so you have to risk the purchase. 9 times out of 10 (unless it's a great seller), it's not worth the risk. Patrick -
Hello I thought I had claimed the Battle beast accessory. Patrick
