  5. The "problem"(if you can call it that) with Dominguez is that his artwork is inconsistent. Just like Jack Sparling. Some covers make you catch your breath while others...well, aren't all that memorable.

  15. By the way, there are collectors who are looking for that type of phone(my folks collect them they are in the telephone biz). That is probably a Stromberg-Carlson ro Western Electric phone. If it has the crank, it is relatively desirable. So, Ebay that bad boy!!! Tim
  16. I have a rule, no more than $50 for a raw BA book. So, I try to find as high a grade as possible. There will be an exceptions to this rule. Slabbed uber grades and Keys(namely that pesky darn HOS 92). It means you just have to look very hard but there are plenty of nice books out there in Bronze Age Horror that you can get for that price.
  17. Start from page 1 and read from to page 5. Jack Cole, the artist responsible for Plastic Man and did some serious good work on Supersnipe.
  18. Whiz Comics #105 CGC 9.0 (won off comiclink auctions). I left a pic in the Golden Age Forum.
  19. Thats what I was thinking, it look like a drop of paint on the cover. I would expect even amature color touch to not raise up like that. Unless, they used a drop of paint or nail polish.
  20. I just noticed the red dot on the right side of the H. Now, I am freaked. If that is color touch, I am hunting rabbit!!!
  21. This in from the Comiclink Auction: Whiz Comics #105 CGC 9.0
  22. Haven't yet. I keep meaning to. His regular price is pretty good as well.
