    Mine was generally $150... grading conservatively. But I'd bought mine long ago, so I really didn't have to worry about what I'd spent on each book so much. Out of 12 longboxes, I probably slabbed a few hundred. YMMV. Good luck!

    I was in the first grade, 1968, and accompanied my dad to a local newsstand. Had never bought or read a comic book... saw this one... and was mesmerized. It sparked my lifelong interest in Spidey... and I don't think it's a coincidence that I eventually married a great looking redhead.

    I think that's low. I'll say 8.0. Nice book!

    I might go higher... maybe 6.5 or even 7.0. Don't like that rusty staple, but I don't see any creases or other major flaws. That said, I always avoid rusty staples, so I don't have experience grading with them.

    I believe CGC might also deduct for writing on the book, especially when it's high grade. So, yeah, this is the rare time when it might be better with Voldemort.

    +1... I had a book that looked like this, minus the shadowing, and got a 6.5. The shadowing might knock it back though.
