  1. If you go to the homepage, there's a message about them closing the store.
  2. The corners are blunted and the lower right front either has a piece missing or a tiny fold... I'll assume the latter. I'll go 8.0-8.5... great book!
  3. Hope it works out. I sold an Avengers 1 to a guy... sig conf... showed it was delivered... guy claimed he didn’t get it. $4600. Fortunately for me, the guy got back to me and said his mom signed for it and forgot about it.
  4. I probably would. I had an ASM 5 that I didn't get pressed... it got a 3.5. I bet it could have gotten a 4.0.
  5. That is a great looking book... the spine and the split are gonna bring it down, though. 4.0-4.5.
  6. Don't have that... but I do collect burnt pianos. The fresher, the better.
  7. I never collected this... after my time. But I just looked it up on eBay. One of these 9.8's just sold... for $80,000.
  8. I had a raw mid grade FF48 with Stan's sig, unverified. I'd just been through a bout with Voldy, and didn't want to do it again, so I slabbed it with CGC, asking them to state "Stan Lee written on cover" in the notes. They did, and it got a 4.5 blue.
  9. I attribute some of the Iron Fist (and even DD) flux to the advent, and demise, of the Netflix series.
  10. "What the heck, it's Christmas... 9.8's all around!!!"
  11. Man, I forgot about those. Sent a Silver Surfer 1 in. Thought it was a 6.0. It was... but it was also a PLOD. Erg. And then I had this: Sent in a TTA27 midgrader. Prescreened. They said it had color touch. BUT... they could remove the CT. Came back a blue 4.5. Yay!
  12. Awesome... a low and a high... on the same book!
  13. Back in 2002 I was buying Marvel keys and runs with some found money... didn't buy many slabbed books... in fact, I bought a lot of keys I knew were restored... but I did buy a slabbed copy of my favorite book as a kid... a GSXM1 9.6. Sold it last year.
  14. Hmmm... quite a few spine ticks... no creases I can see... depends on how they treat that 9. I'd guess a 6.5 to 7.0. Nice book.
  15. I had two, each way. A Marvel Special Edition 15 which I thought was a 7.0. It got a 9.0. Close second was an ASM129, which i pegged for a 7.5... it got a 9.4. On the flip side, an ASM20 which I thought was a 5.0. It came back a 0.5... poster missing. D'oh! They call me Mr. Meticulous. LOL And an X-Men 16 which I thought was a 6.0. It got a 3.0. I was too embarrassed to look up the notes... but I'm guessing I missed some water stains. And you?
  16. If you want grade estimates, post these in the grading forum. And one per thread. Welcome to the boards!
  17. From 5.0 to 6.5 this book's value doesn't vary that much. Get to 7.0 and it's a $500 jump. Down to 4.5 and it's about a $400 drop. Your book looks safely in that middle zone. Nice one!
  18. Yes. Is that a 9 written in grease pencil on the back?
  19. The one conserved book I've had was (coincidentally) this one... Avengers 4... actually a 9.4 (cover cleaned). I had it slabbed in 2018 and got the blue-gray label. For selling, I'd definitely prefer that label.
