  1. I wouldn't restore... it won't return the investment. Only variable: if this book has some kind of a personal connection for you. Then, sure.
  2. I acquired two copies of this book: a CGC 8.0, and a 4.5 with Stan's sig. This looks a bit better than the latter... I'll go 5.0. Classic cover.
  3. From the images as seen off my iPhone, I'll hazard a 6.0.
  4. This looks so much like a MSE15 that I thought was a 7.0... got it pressed... it came back a 9.0. So I'm a little nervous here... ...about going out on a limb.
  5. Great looking book! I had a Hulk 1 7.5 with minor color touch, which when scraped and pressed, became a 6.5. Yours looks almost as good. If it hasn't been pressed, it's worth a press and resub IMHO.
  6. I agree with this... it is a lovely book though.
  7. I might have it pressed anyway, as it's a key. My geezer eyes can see only 2 spine ticks and no creases... some tanning on the back... I will assume the part on BP's arm is not faded, but just camera angle glare. 8.0-8.5? Gorgeous book.
  8. "CGC, there's a hair in my slab." "Shhh... everyone will want one."
  9. Not sure how much a press and clean would help this grade, or really the value... even if you're doing it yourself. I'll say 4.5. Nice book! FYI I found in selling off my 12 long boxes of comics that the books that benefited most from presses were higher grade than this... or higher value, where a .5 or 1.0 bump means a tidy chunk of change. But YMMV.
  10. Well, everyone's different, I for one would get it pressed. A key like that? Absolutely. I'd go 4.0... maybe 4.5. Nice book!
  11. I'll see your 6.5 and raise you 0.5. Nice book!
  12. 3.5 to 4.0 IMHO. That spine is crunchy.
  13. Dang, I knew I should have held onto my PLODs for one more year.
  14. Also, one book per thread here. Nice books.
  15. Yeah, the staining will drag it back. 4.5 sounds right. AWESOME book.
  16. If it comes back at a 4.5, which I think is possible, it's still a $1000+ book.
  17. CGC hammers water stains. You're probably looking VG range.
  18. Please tell me you're not speaking to Alf.
