  1. @KingOfRulers I’m not seeing that CGC will be there to witness there signatures. Will they be there?
  2. As of now, my focus is on a few main comic series, however, I do have a ton that aren't in those series, and are held in long boxes right now. I do not plan on getting rid of them, but I think these are kind of where the problem lies for me. I could have 15 in one series and 1 in another. There is probably 600 or so comics that I have that I'm not actively collecting. Maybe I will just bite the bullet, and use the Excel system. Which I can probably navigate faster than the Collectorz System. The Collectorz system is cool, and has worked well, but I find it getting kind of complicated with the amount of books I have, and the large amount of series I have. Also, its nice to scan things in, but when I can't scan them in, especially older comics, it is just as much effort, if not more to input them, and that's if they even have the comic in their database. Excel could work better, because then I wouldn't even have to worry about covers, or anything like that. Just purchased price, date, seller, where its stored, and things like that. Like I said, I am no expert by any means with excel though, and I hope it wouldn't take too much work to make a spreadsheet like that. Well I mean, hopefully the learning curve wouldn't be too great to figure this out. I was dreading it, but it would be cheaper overall, and this would give me an opportunity to re-organize all the comics, label them better, and alphabetically sort them better (I know I slacked on a bunch, I was getting worn out). I guess you would know best, how hard would it be to have multiple series (Probably 200+), how would I even sort them in the spread sheet? By series? Alphabetically? Can you make sub spreads (For example, headline would be Fantastic Four, with the comics in a spread underneath? Or would it be easier to make individual spreads for each series? I guess I could also use my phone with the collectorz app, and the computer with the spread sheet, to easily input the information. As all but 2-3 of my comics are on their database. Sorry for all the questions, I'm just kind of intrigued, but kind of overwhelmed with the idea. @WoWitHurts
  3. You made out out way better than me! Great submission, love seeing that! - The only mistake I have seen, is them sending me my submissions back with a COA that wasn't mine. I contacted them and sent it back, someone will want to keep that with their book. (It also had the invoice for the COA order thank goodness to get it back to the right owner). Now I do have a friend I work with that had a similar issue, but I can't remember the circumstances, or what the outcome was. I don't remember him being mad about it, so I assume it was a good outcome or the issue was fixed. Sorry I can't be of more help. Regardless very nice slabs! @www.alexgross.com
  4. That’s not a half bad idea, just time consuming. There’s probably more to excel than I know, but I’d have to alphabetically organize it in there - adding new comics when they come in. Basically re-go through all of my stash to Re-Organize it. Although, I do like the color coding idea.
  5. I’ll have to contact them I guess then. I’m literally one state up from them. 400-500 miles if I had to guess.
  6. I had this posted in the General Forum - asked to close that thread and move it here, where I think it belongs. Anyways - I was going to have 11 books graded - All modern. I have the mid grade tier for my membership, which includes $150.00 in credit, which I have no used yet. I know the credit does not go towards shipping costs. So here is where I am at: The cost for the 11 books to be graded is $198.00. No problem, so $48.00 out of pocket after the credit is applied. Shipping costs: $75.00 for Fedex shipping back to me. All comics are under 200 in value. Doesn't this seem insanely high? I swear I had sent in like 15+ and the shipping charge was lower than that. Can someone tell me if this seems off and if I should contact cgc? I think there must be an issue, or the prices have gone up or something. I could be completely wrong, but this just doesn't seem right. Any information helps, and I appreciate you all for reading/helping! Look forward to the responses!
  7. That's hilarious you posted that. Exactly what I imagine in my head.
  8. Exact address I've been using sending them Flat Rate/First Class packages. Never had an issue yet. Well one package got delayed uploading, not sure if it was a USPS issue or CGC issue. Usually updated in their system within a few days.
  9. Please close - Posting in the Newbie Area, where it belongs. My apologies for not posting it there in the first place.
  10. Got a few back today. Didn’t really care what WW #76 came back at or SS #2, what I was nervous of was the X-men 40. I actually thought it was going to come back at less than that. I’m super happy. Obviously no crazy high grades, but I’m content.
  11. Yes, actually right after I posted this, I found 11+” tall dividers. Which will work perfectly. So my apologies, but thank you for responding! @DavidTheDavid
  12. Found answer. Found 11”+ tall dividers
  13. I noticed you would skip edited posts. I didn't see that, nor was I trying to skip anyone. I edited to change some spelling I think lol. Anways: Original post: I don't know if it's possible, but could you add Kingdom: Kid Flash to be added as a set? For example: I see the Kingdom 1 and 2, but the other copies like Kingdom Kid Flash, The Kingdom: Son of the Bat, etc... aren't added. I doubt it would be that Popular, but I have one of the only 9.8 Copies of Kingdom Kid Flash, that I would like to add to a set. Idk if it would be worth adding them together, or separately. I'm not an expert, but if could at least look into it, it would be great! - Also I noticed there are no sets for the Comics "Dreaming Eagles". Could you please build a set for these comics as well? Thank you!
  14. Set: Howard the Duck Vol 5 (2016) Book - Multiple - Will List Just to start, I am about to get all my books graded, and add them to the competitive set, however, when looking, it appears as if all the books aren't listed. Now, because some just say "Variant" instead of which variant, it is hard for me to tell which copy is missing, so I will include as much information as I can. Issue 1 - Missing None Issue 2 - Missing One (Should have: Fred Hembeck Variant Cover, Gwen Pool with ak47 cover (Not sure of name), Gwen Pool Cover 2nd Printing with AK (not sure of name), and the Outerspace Cover (Not sure of name) - Sorry I can't be more of a help on these) Issue 3 - Missing Two (Should have: Joe Quinones Cover, Rob Liefield Gwenpool Variant Cover, Paolo Rivera Variant Cover, Joe Quinones 2nd Printing Variant Cover) - Not sure if 2nd printings qualify. Issue 4 - Missing 2 (The Three different covers are: Regular Joe Quinones & Kevin Wada Cover, Kamome Shirahama Variant Cover, Michael Cho Variant Cover) Issue 5 - Missing None Issue 6 - Missing None Issue 7 - Missing None Issue 8 - Missing Two (Should have: Butch Guice Classic Variant Cover, Joe Quinones Cover, and Dustin Weaver "Story Thus Far" Cover Issue 9 - Missing One ( Should have: Regular Cover, and Joe Quinones Incentive Variant Cover) Issue 10 - Missing None Issue 11 - Missing Two (Should Have: Joe Quinones Cover, Jamal Campbell Defenders Cover, Chip Zdarsky Last Issue Cover (Which I think is the most awesome), and John Tyler Christopher Action Figure Variant Cover I hope this helps, thank you! There could be more I'm missing - These are just all I can tell. Variant Covers are all hard to get the names right on. Everyone could call it something different. Thanks for looking, and sorry if I'm wasting your time!
  15. I don't know if it's possible, but could Kingdom: Kid Flash be added as a set? 16. I love this thread, finally spent some time looking through it! I love seeing what everyone is collecting and getting! Here are some recent pickups that I have acquired, nothing too special. Although, I got a low grade copy of iron man 1 for about 100 bucks, and planet comics 32 low grade for about 20 bucks as well. They are on their way to CGC, as I’m the kind of collector who doesn’t care too much about the grade, id rather have higher grades, but I’d rather have a lower grade copy of the comic, rather than not have it at all. The ASM 362, is a lower grade copy obviously, but my girlfriend bought it for me! I can’t be mad.. she’s trying! The mini comic has detached cover sadly, but still pretty cool. The fire hair hair story is from Ranger #26, and is the complete Fire Hair story from my understanding. I only paid a few bucks for it, so I figured why not?
  17. Understood, I think however, at just 11 a month, that I will go ahead and do it.
  18. @BlowUpTheMoon If you don't mind me asking, what is the difference between gpanlysis and comic price guide?
  19. Ahh, thank God, just when I think I'm the only noob out there, I find a thread for all of us! Thank you for the help! Ahhh, I don't know why I didn't think of this. I was waiting to purchase a membership, but I guess I need to just go ahead and bit the bullet and do it. Thank you for this as well.
  20. Here is the second group of comics I've had graded! Pretty excited about these. 7 The Weapon H #1 was purchased, and the ASM #798 was purchased, the rest I sent in to CGC for grading. I also had some paperwork that wasn't mine, that was attached to the order paperwork that I received with the comics. It was a COA for Daredevil #1, some sort of limited production version, that was limited to 7500 comics. If anyone has any information about this, please contact me. I will be getting in touch with CGC to get it back to it's rightful owner.
  21. Ok, so I finally got some comics graded (two sets so far), but I haven't posted any of my comics I've received yet! So First, I will start with the first ever comics I got graded by CGC! I was new to comics and grading, and really just chose some comics I liked to get graded. Don't judge but here they are! I don't plan on selling any of these, but I'm not sure of the value, probably not much, but if anyone does know the values, any help would be greatly appreciated! (sorry if this isn't the place for that). Also at the time of getting the Kingdom: Kid Flash #1 graded, it was the only CGC 9.8, and the only graded overall! Now I do see one other 9.8. P.S. Sorry for the quality, my scanner is no longer doing too good, and I am in need of a new one. If anyone has any suggestions of a great scanner, that can fit the full size graded comics in it, please let me know!
  22. Hopefully the pictures come out better than they have on my end. My scanner is biting the dust, and I'm in need of a new larger one. Hopefully this will work for you guys/gals!
  23. Yes, I have about 7 of the Spiderman Origin dvd's at the house right now, but all of them were purchased for the ASM 300. I'll have to look to get the 252 now! That definitely is wild, but you are right, at least they made it clear which one you were getting. @Get Marwood & I That's pretty awesome, I have never seen that before. It actually appears that their pricing isn't too bad for an action figure and the comic. Well at least I don't think it's too unreasonable.
  24. I went ahead and picked up a copy of "The Good Morty". I paid $40.00 for it, not sure if that's a good deal or not, but I wanted to see what it was all about. It's not my thing either, but I'll take a look at it, and re-sell it if necessary. If not, I'll just keep it in the collection of Mini Comics. Thanks for that tip! @Dan82
