Love that Krang's Android Body! It looks like the giant sized one, with he Krang that could be removed & put into the robot walker body; but its hard to tell. Is it the giant size or the figure size? Loved the TMNT toys as a kid. Picked up TMNT #2 & #4 at HPB not too long ago; both in rough shape, looks like silverfish had gotten to them. However, for reader copies, I'm not complaining.

It is the giant one.   Got a decent deal on it.   I'm super picky about what tmnt stuff I add to the collection because there was sooooo much.

  2. Hello all.   I just wanted to let people know about the Crossroads Comic Con that I am running in December.  This is the second time I am putting this on (the first was in 2017) and am looking forward to seeing it grow.   I know con is a misnomer in this case as we are only doing a one day event this year, but we wanted it in there for easier branding as we grow.  At this point we have over 30 tables signed up, and will be expanding into more rooms if I continue to get dealer table requests.  If any of you are located in the pacific northwest and able to make it, we hope that you could join us.  The event will be in the Holiday Inn, Salem and runs from 10 am to 3 pm on Sunday, December 13.  Early bird entry begins at 9:00 am.  Entry is $5 at the door, unless you are an early entry, and then it is $8.00.  Feel free to message me for more details.  Thanks!

  3. Hey all,

I’m hoping someone on here may be able to help me out.  I’m trying to track down Rod Ruth original Dinosaur art but not sure where some good places to search for it are.  I’ve looked on Heritage and EBay, but haven’t found really much of anything.  Do any of you know if his work was ever available for sale?  I don’t know that he ever did comics but I know he did a number of science fiction covers before primarily working on nature art.  Any help Is appreciated, thanks.

If someone can do it, it would be someone on this board.  But, my guess is you'll need to go all "Dead Sea Scrolls scholar" and separate the layers to get more imagery before anyone can give you help.  To my eyes, it looks like a circa mid-30s to 40s western or adventure character (think Roy Crane's Capt. Easy or Wash Tubbs who often wore shirts without collars and appeared in comics starting in the mid-30s).  But, that's a shot in the dark given the paucity of information.

Thank you.  I passed this onto the students and we will see where they lead.  They are still trying to get more images off of the sample, so if any become available, I will share them.

The University of Washington has been holding an archaoelogical field school in Grand Ronde the past few years and have been investigating the old BIA school among other places.   This article i am linking to describes a comic book piece that was found in the school's privy.   If any of you recognize the character, or even better, the book that it came from, they would appreciate the help.    Thanks in advance!
