  1. Guys, Any chance you could both take this offline? At this point we're just reading post after post of back and forth. It doesn't matter who gets the last word. Let's just go on with our lives? J
  2. doom and Monster -- Great art and great frame job guys!!
  3. Hey Eric, Welcome to the boards! Nice to see you here, and of course, great art in your gallery!! J
  4. Just got this baby back from the frame shop. Really didn't like having it out of my possession...but now it's back home and up on the wall where I can read it. V for Vendetta - Framed!
  5. Just got this beauty back from the frame shop today. Tried something new with the fillets and it turned out great. It's on a museum easel also, which I strongly recommend. You can get a decent one for $60 and it's super cool to display the art that way. Plus you can easily rotate pieces. Captain America Cover!
  6. Really difficult to part with but to make an omelette I had to break a few eggs. Glad that it's in a happy and deserving home!!
  7. has he redeemed himself? We heard a lot from one side about the fiasco. One of my personal mantras in life is that the truth often falls somewhere in between two opposing sides' beliefs. So I tend not judge people, unless it's based on my own experiences. For my money, I was extremely pleased both with my little sketch, and my brief time spent with the guy.
  8. That's a disgustingly "not so nice" cover -- I know you'll treasure it -- congrats!!
  9. Managed to pick up a super nice sketch at the Big Apple/National today, by none other than Michael Golden. Of course, I had to ask for the good Dr. Strange and he did a superb job!! I was amazed how he kept striving for more and more detail, even though he was pressed for time. Check it out and judge for yourselves... Dr. Strange Sketch by Michael Golden
  10. I think it's going to be the alt cover to the Chosen #1 second printing also! Good going!!
  11. David has it all and is not currently selling his art. J
  12. Someone should keep a list of these terms. The Ghost. That's a good one. I propose that those willing "post their Ghost" and maybe someone can help them find it, or at least let them know it's not for sale. Not a full on want list, but specific pages they want to buy. Mine are: Ex Machina #1 Pg. #1 - Sold by Tony Harris at a Con/appearance right around when the first issue debuted. The Great Machine heads off the second 9/11 plane. Kingdom Come #1 - Alex Ross - Green Lantern introduction splash with his fortress hovering above Earth. Captain America Summary DPS - Alex Ross - The one that tells Cap's life story in iconic red white and blue imagery. Jim Lee Batman: Hush/Alan Scott page - Young Bruce Wayne and Tommy Elliot look up in the Metropolis sky and see Green Lantern flying overhead. What are your Ghosts?
  13. Quoting Hal Turner from the Big Fish thread: "But what about The Ghost? That's the piece that you want, that you cherish, that you know is out there SOMEWHERE...but that you've never been able to find? That never went to eBay, that isn't in CAF, that must exist somewhere in the universe -- but that you've never been able to find? For me, The Ghost is as painful as The Big Fish. And my Ghost? I'd love a chance at the OA to the cover of Strangers in Paradise #1 (the Antarctic Press version)...wherever it is.... "
  14. Got this new addition to the sketch series in yesterday. It's the last one I was waiting for from Big Apple Con!
  15. Welcome Alberto!! I just carpet bombed your gallery with comments -- but for anyone who hasn't checked out his gallery, it's a revelation!! A score of nice high level pieces and some grails for sale (I just can't afford that Harris Dr. Strange DPS painted cover!!) See ya 'round... J
  16. I don't think he exists... Congrats Sebastien on another great pickup!
  17. Crikey! They've got Fables covers in Bogota, Columbia!! (The response -- "Well, not anymore") Congrats, man. J
  18. So this first one is a reintroduction of an Ex Machina page I've had for awhile, but it was sold before the inks had been filled. Tom Feister was saintly enough to finish them, which was no small favor given the detail on the page!! Solar will appreciate this one!! This second page was always one of my favorites, for the reveal of the villain (at least to Mitch) of the arc. I had to take my husband apart, so I could learn how to put myself back together again.
