  1. Alright -- one more Ex Machina post for the day. Uploaded 4 more pieces: We're into sensitive territory, both for 9/11 imagery and spoilers for the series. If you think you might not want to see such images, use discretion before clicking the 3rd or 4th link. Ex Machina #25 Cover - Incredible Metropolis Homage! A little slice of the geography of Queens, and some history. A heart wrenching 9/11 page. A major death this early on? SPOILERS!
  2. Couple new pages -- likely sitting at work today while I'm not there to pick them up!! These are from the Ex Machina Special, guest art by Chris Sprouse and Karl Story. They're are also special because our very own Solar was a prince amongst men for hooking me up with these. Thanks, man! from the 1st meeting between the Great Machine and Pherson from the (final?) meeting between the GM and Pherson
  3. Totally true. I'm loving buying a page for $150 instead of $1500 and getting the same enjoyment out of it. Great pages, Paul! #50 is a truly key issue in the series and these are key pages from it! Congrats back at you... J
  4. Some new Ex Machina arrivals from this week: Alt. Pencils from the last page of the 1st issue! 5 new pages from my favorite issue Two of those pages from #11 are guest inked by Karl Story! Try to guess which ones!! Thanks for looking. J
  5. Thank god you mentioned this. People would have thought I was a sucker!! Well, maybe they do anyway, BUT I will always trade nicely for the stuff I want. So bring on more Ex Machina art, all!! J
  6. Thanks to my old friend SOLAR, I add two new pieces to the Ex Machina gallery, and welcome back an old friend I should never have let go (I have rarely regretted parting with anything that I've sold or traded but that was an exception.) So here they are -- Ex Machina #5 Cover Is that woman trying to kill you? Just blow her up with your jetpack! Welcome home! Thanks again, my man! J
  7. Last new Ex Machina piece, at least for now: Ex Machina #11 Cover!
  8. Just in -- a couple new Ex Machina pieces -- Ex Machina #8 Cover Ex Machina Starman Homage

  10. Three new Ex Machina pages to close out the week. Man, this art team is slick... The Great Machine! Mitchell traces a call... Ex Machina #20 Cover
  11. Finally I have something non-Sandman to post in this thread -- new arrival -- cover to Ex Machina #12: Tony Harris Goodness!
  12. This article relates to the fine art market. I'm sure the great majority of fine art buyers are not investing in comic art. Personally, I prefer comic art, but the two worlds are still very much apart. What will happen in the future is anyone's guess. Personally, with my limited experience in and around the fine art market, I see a very large contingent of "those people" never deigning to recognize comic art on the same level as the art in their world. I'm guessing their world will remain mostly separate from ours. I foresee a separate "comic art market" coming to fruition at a different level. A different level of price as well as interest. This market may capture the imagination of a different contingent of people, so while they are not now fine art buyers, they may become comic art buyers. Your milage may vary...
