  1. You're not alone. Same thing is happening to my submission from last year... Delivered 5/3/2021 Received (Opened) 6/21/2021 CCS Billed 1/12/2022 ... ... I called Customer Service on Friday and was told they were starting to press books received July 1 2021. The CS Rep was very nice and sent an inquiry email, as mine should have resurfaced by now. Got a call back from CGC but missed it and no VM. Hoping there is an update next week, as it was late in the day Friday.
  2. So, I guess I still have a bit, which is OK. The interesting part is that when I got refunded the difference in a pressing overcharge from the June price change, they told me they were working on books "received" June 1. That phone call/email exchange was April 25. My books were delivered on May 3 but "received" June 21. So I figured maybe in a few weeks. Hopefully they are getting close to your books. Now I'm wondering if I have to renew in order to get my books graded as my membership is up at the end of the month.
  3. Did you have these pressed with CCS? Also was this Slow or FT? I have an order with CCS for a year now and I'm just trying to gauge where I may be in line. Thanks.
  4. I just sent in some slabs to get remarqued and if this is there S.O.P. then I am now terrified. I know they have us click that release form, but come on. It is very concerning no one said I screwed up opening it and just passed it through.
  5. I wish you luck and hope they are. For perspective, I have a slow track CCS order that was delivered in late-May 2021 and "Received" mid-June 2021 that I'm waiting to see pop back on my submissions when it gets over to CGC. It dropped off the screen in January and has yet to come back and there isn't anything but 'Received' when I type in the sub # ...
  6. I had the same issue with some books I sent to get pressed in May 2021. I got an email from customer service which had much better results. I will say that when I was first billed I called and had a CS rep verify that my submission was scanned in before that first cutoff last spring. That may have expedited the refund. The email was accounting@cgccomics.com I hope it works out for you.
  7. I had a bunch of these in one of the slabs that got returned. I'm really not sure how these are getting past "quality control"
  8. Has anyone had anything in the CCS Slow track move over to CGC recently? Specifically I'm looking for anything initially received in June 2021 or later. My sub, received 6/19/21, dropped off the 8-month window more than a month ago and I'm just curious if anyone else had movement. It changed to "CCS in Process" on January 11 and then gone. Just wondering/hoping others have had some movement to compare to.
  9. 2 different Modern Slow Submissions shipped in the same box. Both had these updates. Received 11.19.21 SFG 11.19.21 GEI 3.17.22 QCF 3.18.22 SHIPPED 3.21.22 (except one was picked up today)
  10. Pressed and cleaned...6 months probably for that and who knows what CGC's TATs will be then.
  11. Sent this off today to get pressed and eventually graded. I'll let you all know what happens in 6-12 months...

  13. Page quality and everyone's favorite multi-panel-with-lines cameo.....
  14. Here are updated scans...Not sure what is up with the 'auto-detection' as I said before. Even after I reinstalled the scanner and shut all those features off, it still got super tight but this time on the front bottom of the book.
  15. This one definitely needs a press. You may not be able to see it in the scan but the back cover has a NCB bend in the back, probably from storage before it was bagged/boarded. I think it's a great copy for the price I paid, but curious what people think. Thanks again for feedback.
  16. Hi, I only had black and this sort of cream colored paper to put behind it. My scanner kept doing funky things with the 'auto' crop even after I shut it off. I'll try to post more pictures of the the top of the back later, but I'm curious people's thoughts. Got a pretty good deal on this one from my LCBS this weekend and I'm thinking of sending this one in for a Claremont SS. Thanks for any feedback.
