SFG today.

Bought Avengers 4 from David and it couldn't have gone more smoothly. Came fast and safe, don't hesitate to pick up some great books from this seller.

Guess I fat fingered the date, should be Modern prescreen received 1/12. Went to SFG about two weeks ago now.

So my slab pictures may not have been the best, but here is the x-over result. 'That other grader' had this at a 9.4 OW/W, so while I expected the grade drop from what I saw, the page quality bump was a pleasant surprise.

Anyone have any prescreens finish up recently? I had one received 1/19 that's been SFG for quite a bit now, curious where they are with those.

I feel like turnaround times are long when it sits in G/QC for a week. Maybe I'm spoiled but usually a one or two day step for me. Feeling anxious since I've never seen these books and want the grades right meow 😁

I had a walkthrough delivered 3/4 that was marked received 3/5. Also have an express being delivered Tuesday and can report back on that.

I've gotten good deals on FB and haven't had any issues with sellers backing out but think it's largely dependent on what you're looking for. Realizing a lot of people here are more seasoned collectors the availability and pricing of gold/silver/bronze on FB isn't impressive and what is brought to market is typically just fishing trying to squeeze out top dollar, above and beyond any comparable market sales, as was previously suggested. That being said, I've had good luck with moderns, particularly in buy/sell/trade groups specializing in a series I'm interested in pursuing like Something Killing the Children or Department of Truth. Outside of those groups I've probably only purchased 7 or 8 books total in the larger marketplace; Batman 89, Hell Arisen 3, Venom 3, Venom 7 and Venom 9 are the ones off the top of my head for a total cost of around $300, which I felt was more than fair at the time of purchase. All of those also came back 9.8 so I've also been very fortunate in the quality department.

This is the only non-CGC book in my collection and I have every intention of cracking it out and subbing to CGC for consistency sake. Hopefully pictures are decent, tough when slabbed but I noted around 3 minor color breaks along the spine and small color breaking crease back cover lower left. Curious where to set my expectations as I've never re-subbed x company before.

Prescreen update. Seems pretty quick to me!

I've never sent in a mechanical error before but just got one back I'd like fixed. Do I have to do anything in advance or can I just drop it in a box with another submission and a note?

I have a modern pre-screen received 11/13 in SFG. 15 book modern submission received 11/30 in SFG. Last completed was 25 book modern sub received 11/25 and F/I/S on 1/7.

This is my CCS quickpress that originally skipped pressing where I had to call and put it back on the right track. They said they would get them pressed asap but still seems quick, might be in the running for quickest press/ grade ever considering my pre-screen received the same day still hasn't moved.

None of those from 11/24 were pressed.

Expected results: 21 9.8, 3 9.6, 1 9.4 Actual results: 1 9.9, 24 9.8 I'll take that any day!
