Has anyone ever had a submission go to G/QC and then back to SFG? Feels like a bit of a tease.

SFG today. Thinking it will beat my 11/13 prescreen.

That one moved to SFG almost immediately, within 1 or 2 days of being marked received. All my later submissions are still marked received.

Starting to check these obsessively, will be interested to see which one completes first.

I was wrong, they called me back already! Confirmed they skipped pressing and are pulling them out of grading to go back in line at CCS. Crisis averted, thanks everyone for listening to my adventures today.

Yeah, my last quickpress before this one was 8/12, updated to received at CGC 11/30 and is now sitting in SFG. Last full press was received 7/13 and F/I/S today actually. Talked to a new CSR and she agreed there was no way. Said she would reach out to CCS and call me back. My money is on these things ship out graded and unpressed before I hear back but we shall see. These were all post-2018 books with very minor issues so the grades should reflect whether they were pressed or not relatively easily I'd think.

This will either be the fastest CCS Quickpress/CGC submission in history or someone is messing with me. Updated to Grading/Quality Control now.... Edit: I feel weird griping my submission is moving to fast.

That makes me feel a tad better that you didn't get new received days. Yep, moderns, they charged $200 for CCS ($8/per) as soon as they were received.

So follow up, called CGC to confirm and I smell disaster brewing. Told me these had already been pressed. I'm VERY skeptical that these were pressed in 30 calendar days. I've also done enough of these to know there is always a new received date when they pass from CCS to CGC which never happened. Guess I'll wait and see what happens next

Should I be concerned this submission went to Scheduled for Grading? It had CCS Quickpress service, which was billed appropriately shortly after receipt. 11/13 was the original received date so is it possible it skipped CCS completely even though I was charged?

I just feel happy for my packages taking the trips that I can't right now. Like this one, I live in Kansas City but as soon as my package got here she decided she didn't want to be here either and left. What an adventure it must be....

I just had the same book in a batch that F/I/S on Friday and it has regular old boring white pages.

Got this OA piece of hers for the Commanders in Crisis book coming out in a few weeks. Her work is really spectacular in hand.

My last Heritage Auctions purchase (Batman 4 in a magazine slab) showed up with the bottom of the case total mangled where I could probably pull the book out if I wanted to. There was no plastic in the box so I know it was shipped that way. I was highly annoyed for a moment. Coincidentally.......
