Hey all, need some advice. I'm looking into getting a Star Wars AT-ST and not sure what to look for when buying one other than discoloration and other obvious stuff. Any suggestions?

I picked up my first couple 9.8s! If anyone knows a better way to do this, please share it with me.
All I'm doing right now is searching eBay for "Godzilla 9.8" and clicking Buy It Now on whatever comes up that I don't have yet. Is there a better way? I've found that if I add any other words to my search, then legit items get filtered out. If I add "CGC" or "Marvel" to the search, then the listings missing those terms don't show up.
Prices are all over the place and maybe wait for auctions or if you see a good deal (around 200ish). Say your money for #24 because that will be the hardest to find.

Ok, I finally have some $$ set aside to start picking up some Godzilla 9.8s! Is it just a matter of regular eBay searches? Can anyone share any advice/tips for me starting out?
Price's are all over the place (excluding #1).

Not sure what to watch. I'm not excited about anything coming (with the exception of Dune 2). I've resorted to upgrading to watching everything to 4k. I was looking forward to Blade but feel that is going to be a hot mess. Feeling depressed...

The site is working for my but lost all my bid history.

As was touched on before, seeing as how they have to buy the 1/3rd stake from Comcast I am sure they are sitting on it so that the value is as cheap as possible. Better to pay $9 Billion than $25 Billion.
Good point, I hadn’t thought of that angle.

I truly don't know if Hulu is worth the 27 billion value I heard floating around and for the life of me I don't know what Disney has done with its Fox purchase. They seem to be sitting on it. Just wondering what others think...

I don't get the diskless steel books. 99% of the reason I personally stopped buying PM (I recently got back into it) was to get rid of clutter. I'm willing accept the clutter again because of the superior audio quality I notice with 4K blue ray AND that I know they can't delete/edit my PM.

Coming soon to this thread my 1st ever comic Godzilla 2 which is at CGC being graded now. This book started my love for this title.
The book I sent in is a very loved copy and CGC will probably when they grade it and wonder what weirdo would send this in and spend money to grade it.
So, predict the grade !?! Will it be the lowest in the census?

I haven’t seen it yet, but the general opinion seems to be that they’ve gone the humorous route. The Starlin fans like myself would require a dark, intense psychodrama similar in tone to Joker, but that’s not commercial at all, especially when that’s complicated by using a character unknown to the majority of the general public, excluding those who’ve played the excellent PS5 GOTG game.
So, soon it’ll be very interesting for me to see how he’s portrayed and how badly he’s messed up in the film. (You can just hear the positivity there.)
Yeah, that’s what I’ve heard too but I was thinking it could be “forgiven” since he was just “born” and GOTG always took the humerus route. If he is supposed to be dark they could easily mature him in follow up portrays I hope…?

I'm not a Warlock comic fan so I don't really have a solid opinion on how he was portrayed but I heard a lot of fans didn't like the portrayal. That said, it didn't really bother me since I knew he was suppose to "child like" in his origin. Any Warlock fans have an opinion on his portrayal?

Deadline update:
The James Gunn Marvel Studios title is spotting $47M-$48M today, including $17.5M previews, for what will hopefully be a $110M start at 4,450 theaters. One analyst tells us that dollar for dollar that Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 is looking a lot like Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania. Both movies did about $37M in presales with the latter debuting to $106.1M (which was a franchise record opening) over its Friday-Sunday.
I think this will get good “word of mouth” though. AM3 didn’t.

Non-spoiler review
I liked it. It was my least favorite of the 3 but that doesn't mean it was bad. It was defiantly the best out of Phase 4/5. That said, the rewatchability is low but it had it's momments.

Neither was the actress. Her expression says it all, " I can't believe I'm here. This is so dumb."

Saw it and liked it. #1 is still the best. I'm debating in my head which is better, 3 or 4. The knife scene in #3 I think is still my favorite action sequence of all time but the Paris action scenes were pretty stellar also. #2 is by far my least favorite.

As for "why are people paying more for higher value comics?" Because 3rd party grading and encapsulation is a VALUE ADDED service. The book is worth more graded than it is raw. And the more it is worth the more value added by 3rd party grading and encapsulation.
But mistakes can still happen....regardless of experience and how much you pay.Mistakes do happen... Trust me, I make mistakes all the time. I own them though but that's how you establish trust! Ugh, I go through this at work everyday so it goes beyond CGC for me!People cover up the most stupid things it's frustrating! Just say you f-ed up and move on!

I'm just a lot less concerned than most
To re-stress my initial point, this was a High Grade Golden Age Book. I agree, people do make mistakes but... they shouldn't on High grade Golden Age books. There should be higher standards in my view and should be graded by seasoned veteran graders. Hence why are people paying more for higher value comics? If that is not the case then why should CGC charge more?

I was thinking of an original. I don't collect SW stuff so I don't know much between the original's an 90's version. It would be mostly for display but I won't want anything fragile and not looking for the best of the best.
