  1. The day was going to come that another Crow 3 CGC 9.8 would pop up. Just amazed how long it took. Nice job! sorry, i was bummed when my single highest marvel spotlight # 7 9.8 found its twin. i'm glad i managed to snag it before it got bent up in dealer stock. and, i didnt press these.
  2. thought i'd share a couple books i originally picked up raw at a local show. i gave my off-the-rack set away, about twenty years ago.... she was a cute lil' goth chick.
  3. you'll have to inquire with him. i not implying that he likes to offer this option for everybody that walks by his table. but, i'm sure he'd be happy to do it for a regular customer like anthony.
  4. I thought I'd post my sketchcard from the Motor City Comicon...
  5. Thanks for the X-Men 129. Great transaction! Fast shipping and excellent packaging! Hope to do more business with you in the future. (thumbs u
  6. I don't think Ed himself did any of the Ratfink drawings in 80's undergrounds. the Starhead Ratfink Comix were done by R. K. Sloane. Unlike most 80s minis, the XEX Graphics books were mostly if not all offset printed, and often had heavy cardstock covers. $5 - $10 is probably a decent ballpark on value, but don't know how easy it is to find a buyer. yes, the rat fink stuff is cool and r.k. sloane was his ghost artist. i love sloan's comic work and his paintings are great. he died about three years ago. BUT bagge's run on neat suff and hate are classic MUST READS.
  7. well, they won't make you rich. they're probably worth $5-8 bux a piece to the right buyer. i collect peter bagge stuff but that's before he's worth collecting.
  8. Hey Mike, actually it looks like this was not just a poster but also the front cover to a collection of underground art (maybe from an exhibit) published by S.K. Jonefsberg Studio in Portland, OR in 1995. Here is an image of the finished art. Cheers, Tom Thanks Tom! I knew someone could do it! Now I just have to find a copy for sale. one was just listed on eBay (not my listing) http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=200601422791 i forgot to check in on this auction and got outbid! thanks anyways. i guess i'll wait another million years to locate one.
  9. I was thinking the same thing. The orange isn't as intense either.
  10. Gadzooks! I've been Clooneythoned again! It's time for a 12 Step intervention. I can't resist the deals, service, and great shipping!
  11. I bought this one in 2004. http://comics.ha.com/common/view_item.php?Sale_No=14091&Lot_No=16855
  12. I always wondered if someone could take one of the cover proofs that you see in the marketplace and place it on an original coverless copy... then send it to the "other guys"?

  14. you're off to a great start! nice group of ghost riders!
  15. great sketches, matt! a guy had a warehouse find of these at a wizard world chicago show about eight years ago. i thought it was the original set... but it's not. it's still shrinkwrapped and pretty cool. he was selling them for $100. i still wish i had bought one.
  16. I started playing D and D thirty-one years ago. I traded all my stuff for high-grade bronze Avengers issues when I was a junior in high school. I miss the lead figures the most and have started buying them again. I loved the episode on Freaks and Geeks where the cool, bad boy type played D and D with the "geeks."
  17. I was trying to find a scan of the finished art / poster, but no luck.
  18. I finally got some Deitch art in the last ComicLink auction. Does anyone have any info on this exhibit, like what year?, or a scan of the published piece? Thanks.
  19. Great stuff, Mike! So you've been turning the proceeds from your sales threads into headlight covers... you're da man!
  20. a couple decent panels, but the rest is average. i'll try to post some pics tomorrow. i'm tired.
  21. did someone say, "hitler cover?" ... i never thought i'd get a copy of this book, so i was very excited when i found this... water ripples and all.
  22. both of your books look awesome! i'm crossing my fingers that a few more peps in the 20s are in a local collection that is coming to market.
