  1. Would setting the alarm clock do the same thing?
  2. What are you feeling? It's funny that you knew it wouldn't be a "who"...
  3. Awesome in tuna as well And in an omelette wouldn't it be considered "cooked" then, or do you mean sprinkled over an omelette? Sprinkled..you mean dice? You rang? Ranged Onions..that doesn't sound good... Is that anything like free range onions?
  4. Awesome in tuna as well And in an omelette wouldn't it be considered "cooked" then, or do you mean sprinkled over an omelette? Sprinkled..you mean diced? Diced and not sauteed separately so they are mostly raw. Or as a condiment. Or when doing my Rocky imitation just added to the raw eggs in a glass before I chug it down.
  5. OK, so you supposedly take the "high road" apologize, and announce you are leaving for a while, but you are really watching the board instead (which can't exactly be healthy). You then return, to gloat about something, that caused many people to be less than happy with you in the first place. Would you kindly block me as a buyer on Ebay? Since there is no way to block sellers, I don't want to accidentally purchase something from you and have it in a thread later on. Is there some kind of "List" we can get on? Yes, you can get on Cal's list.
  6. It was great that Alex returned the book to Yannis so that he could complete the deal, however at that point, though Alex should be commended for being willing to give up the book, nothing should have been done until Yannis had confirmed with Matt that another deal was in place. An unfortunate situation all around. I concur.

  8. Doing a circuit, it seems it's been nothing but copper/modern stuff lately so I hit the Original Art Marketplace, Golden/Silver/Bronze & next up is Mixed!
  9. Because nobody (but greggy) demanded it! A Junk thread in Mixed tomorrow! All sorts of junk!
  10. My invite must have been lost in the mail!
  11. So everyone is guilty in your eyes automatically. Guilty of what Not quite sure how you arrived at that from my statement. It was more a comment on how we as collectors are willing to discard information on a seller to obtain "that" book in "that" grade. Maybe, just maybe, the "big names" bought from him before he was outed as Hammer/Dupcak Or sold to him.
  12. Don't jump to too many conclusions, I don't think all those names are buyers, some may be sellers. Maybe sellers that didn't know who they were dealing with. I say that because I am on the list and I am pretty sure I never bought from him, whether I knew who it was or not. And another name on that list is a non-boardie who I believe strictly sold, not bought, under that account name.
  13. Nice to see Matt being all growed up about it, realizing it's not going to do any good to flail around on the ground tossing a tantrum, instead just wanting some sort of response from the seller. It still sucks big time.
  14. I was told it was a 2.5 ungraded but unrestored and they wanted $1600 They I KNEW that's who it was! i knew first I knew before you all. Stamped it, called it, no erasies, no double crossies. oops! You forgot no take backs I win! YAY! You have to post who you think it is to win Roy doesn't since he sold the book to the person. As I said, it was "they". I win.

  16. OK, fair enough...he's not obliged to do anything. I suppose it would be nice to think that he'd feel it the right thing to do, though. Nick, the only person that needs to do the right thing is the seller. The current owner of the book shouldn't have to or be expected to speak for him. I think waiting the 24 hours for a seller response is reasonable, then have at 'em.
  17. Sorry, but Why all the drama then? Re-read, he was talking about the person with the book in his sig line Obvious from MT1000's now edited post, but not when I made the quote. Don't you have some magazine clippings to add to your Betty White scrapbook? I posted it anyway, I had gone through the effort of typing a response and laughed when it wouldn't upload due to deleted post. I figured I'd fix your wagon! No Golden Girls scrapbooking tonight, I just received my copy of the 2010 Golden Girls Swimsuit Calendar!
  18. It's not his responsibility to explain why he has the book. If he chooses to, that's one thing.
  19. Although he did remove the book from his sig line as soon as this thread started. Wonder why that might be? I would cut the owner some slack... I'd guess the pulled book was an attempt to head off the mob of torches headed towards the seller until he had a chance to respond. Not too hard to figure out the seller's ID from the clues here. Very disappointed at the events presented in this thread and I do hope the seller will weigh in soon. Jon, I agree that the buyer might have been totally unaware of what went down. However, he sure knew when this thread started and he decided, whether with a nudge from the seller or not, to remove the book from his sig. At that point, isn't he 'aiding and abetting'? No. May just be trying to stay clear of the blast field.
