  1. Same deal for me. So much for the initially promised February mail dates!
  2. Watched the first 3 episodes and I was bored. It's also somehow convinced me to not read the comics, which I'd always intended to.
  3. If you want to feel really out of whack, 1980s books are as old now as Golden Age books were in 1980. 2000 books are as old today as AF15 was in 1980.
  4. I threw out or donated about 14 longboxes I'd love back about now.
  5. I hope you're right! but GA has been left in the dust by Marvel SA-Modern and 80s indy books.
  6. sorry, but these just ain't no Master of Kung Fu 115s.
  7. It's pretty remarkable how this wave of price inflation has hit basically everywhere apart from DCs.
  8. you'd just think, with 100 9.8s out there, the buyer would have waited for a better 9.8.
  9. these look like they were printed yesterday.
  10. Falcon and the Winter Soldier episode 6 spoiler! Dr. Doom fights Iron Man in dark room. This comic is that scene's first appearance.
  11. Studio scripts are almost never the product of 1 writer.
  12. It doesn't have any of what I loved about the 70s series, but I liked the trailer anyway. Marvel hasn't ever had a miss (I liked even the "worst" that they put out), so until they do I'll just assume this will be quality.
  13. Those 9.2s and 9.4s were all pre-trailer, so probably up a bunch since that, as the other grades are.
  14. 9.0s are currently selling for about $2k, so I'd guess 9.4s are currently $3k+? (no current sales data on 9.4)
  15. I suspect they dropped the rights when they decided to cancel the book? Fu Manchu died like 5 times. I couldn't find confirmation one way or another. When Gene Day, the acclaimed artist on the latter part of the series, passed away, then Doug Moench left, they let the series end. It wasn't selling well at that point anyway.
