  1. It is, but a 9.2 sold for $1100 in May, so this price is in line.
  2. FF1 9.0 vs. MS5 9.8.... wow. Perhaps I'm really out of touch, but does Ghost Rider even have enough of a fandom to support a monthly comic book? As far as I always knew, he was 3rd-tier. I realize the book is rare in high grade, but still...
  3. Where does this MS5 sale put its rank in terms of overall comic sales by issue? Top 50?
  4. looks like the seller ended it. https://www.ebay.com/itm/224494704713?nma=true&si=tWqkmT6aP6Za%2FRMWahRCF3%2BfYXg%3D&orig_cvip=true&nordt=true&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2557
  5. I loved Sable at the time, but it's a bit apples to oranges.
  6. MOKF 115 9.8s sold twice in quick succession the last 2 days, $900 and $1200.
  7. @Msgarmar Thanks for the interest! Here's the whole thread on collecting the run. As to a few of your specific questions: of the higher graded ones, I believe just the 15 and 39 were bought raw. Lots of the VG-ish ones were raw from ComicConnect, who were usually within a 1 to .5 on grading. I did upgrade a handful along the way, mainly to try to get them all blue label, though obviously the 23 ended up being an exception. Not currently selling the run, but I'm not collecting much anymore either. I did recently got a much nicer 48 from @Point Five, which I'll post when he allows me to.
  8. (of giving positive feedback) to be nice and helpful?
  9. Finally got a proper scan of my copy. There's a 4.5 on eBay someone should buy.....
  10. Scans of my books from the recent signing. I bought these raw when they were printed, and stored them without bags or boards on bookshelves through 3 different moves. Amazed they survived in this condition! Kind of wish I'd submitted my Fugitoid as well, now...
  11. The fees are actually a little less since they've instituted managed payments. The buyer feedback thing happened so long ago I forgot about it- and I never had to use it anyway.
  12. It certainly depends on what kind of books one is buying. The books I generally buy (bought? do I even still collect?) do not get a discount when unslabbed, and I just prefer to know exactly what I'm getting.
  13. too many bad experiences. I generally don't buy raw at all these days, however.
  14. I only even buy at their auctions, and never have an issue with graded books from them. I will, however, never buy raw there.
  15. They have at least 2-3 series moving forward aside from Jupiter and Supercrooks. If those fail, then I guess it's done... but they spent like $50mil just to get Millar. (which seemed nuts at the time)
  16. Finally! Very pleased with the grades. Didn't know what to expect.
  17. Finally! Got my grades in. First time slabbing magazines, and probably viewed them with a harsher eye.... I'll post pics when they arrive.
  18. 2 and 3, perhaps, though mine are not high grade. I was happy enough to even find Cerebus back issues back when I collected them. (pre-internet)
  19. You were the 3rd highest bid, looks like. Cerebus is the hotness, who knew? Should I slab my 2-25 run? hmmm.
  20. https://www.ebay.com/itm/154467697016?_trksid=p2047675.l2557&autorefresh=true&nma=true&si=tWqkmT6aP6Za%2FRMWahRCF3%2BfYXg%3D&orig_cvip=true&nordt=true&rt=nc $5900. A big bet it will come back 7.0 or better without color touch.
