  1. Have you read the current Bendis-written Supes and Actions? I'm waiting for the TPB, but have hopes...
  2. Wow, this collection is amazing. Good luck with the sale!
  3. Wonder if CGC could remove that tape and then give it a press....
  4. After finally getting a slab-friendly scanner up and running, I started a GA Superman themed comics page which will eventually contain images of my collection, as well as stories, original art, and more. http://matt3934.wixsite.com/itsabird
  5. Yup! As soon as I have the last 6 back from getting slabbed.
  6. Finished my Superman collection, so on to new pastures!
  7. I called customer service and they have the package. No problems!
  8. Thanks, I'll call tomorrow and see if the same happened to me.
  9. Did you send USPS or Fedex/UPS? (I did USPS, which has a different mailing address) CGC PO Box 4738 Sarasota, FL 34230
  10. I sent in a few packages to the CGC PO box in Florida, which were not picked up and subsequently returned to me. Anyone else having this issue?
  11. My favorite Superman cover. Great copy!
  12. 2 reasons for me: • The combination of price per issue / time to read an issue is pretty ridiculous, with a $4 book taking 5 minutes to read. • They make it too hard to collect, with all the variants and #1 reboots.
  13. Beautiful book! Do you still have the run of 10-20 (or roundabouts) that you owned years back?
  14. This book technically completes my run of Action Comics from 15-63! Will be sending it off for additional restoration work. (the amateur work done to it is not removable)
  15. I was speaking more generally as to why someone might want slabs, not to any single person's preference.
  16. Reasons to grade a book, or only collect graded books: - More certainty of what you are buying - Ease of selling - Better protection against everyday handling and storing Then, from an OCD point of view, once you start collecting a few slabs, well, then they all have to be in slabs to match.
