Action 1, with some hesitation
(as long as the restoration isn't too bad)
-
Almost any single comic over the Action #7 for $143,000 (including Tec 38 and 9.0 Captain America 1)
-
Nice. I have been thinking of starting one of these threads for a while
-
Sweet Avengers #4! That and the Green Lantern #76 that was posted way back are probably my favorite double covers that have been posted so far
-
Look at the price this X-Men #148 double cover just brought on eBay last night. Unbelievable! Crazy money and they weren't even slabbed.

Anytime gijoed bids on a book that someone else really wants, it gets crazy. If I knew that gijoed would buy all of my books I would probably sell them now

Even better idea...transparent aluminum

Have you considered sending anything to CGC?
I've thought of sending All-American #16.
But it's not something I really have any serious intention of doing.
You should also consider sending in your Adventure 40, which, as I recall, was one of your most amazing books. If you have the chance, you should re-scan you AA #16 and Adv. #40 so that the edges aren't cropped. We would love to see them in their full glory.
Why stop there? Send the Tec 27 too! And if you have More Fun 52, send that also (I can't remember, but I will assume you have this )!

Go Go Dr. Hormone and the Pee-Pee Train!

If I am correct that the Tec 27 says it was trimmed, then I will take the Marvel Comics 1.

Ugh where do you get these from,
This one came from ebay Auction Link just got them today and was very suprised even had a very nice Fine- Marvel Team-Up #1 in there.
Who says you can't get good deals on ebay any more.
How about I pay you $0.99 for the MTU #1 and then you essentially got the Spidey double cover for free....
-
I love the cover! Great comic to have a double cover of
-
Sub-Mariner #3. 9.6 Timely? I will take it!

Sig pictures? I turned those off months ago when tools starting posting 800 pixel high pictures and stretching threads too long. It is a happier world without them....

Marvel Comics #1 over the Batman #1.
MC1 is much rarer in any grade and I could find a 6.0 copy of Batman #1 that would make me happy in the future.
this is a common misconception that I have noticed, largely, I guess, do to the overall #'s of available batman 1 vs marvel1...but, in looking at the census, there are 10 copies of Marvel 1,in cgc 6.0 and above...there are only 15 copies of batman 1 in cgc 6.0 and above...so, I would say that yes, Marvel comics is "rarer", but not by as much as some folks think, if we are being grade conscious...
Good point. When I looked at the census I was suprised by the total Batmans (110) vs. Marvel Comics (39). I would have expected more graded Batmans since they are always popping up and less Marvel Comics since they seem much less frequent.

All Winners #1 because there are too many high grade Mad #1.
All Fun #14. I love the pre-superhero superheroes and I don't like that huge spine split.

I was watching that, but it wasn't worth $1K to me. I guess it has two of the Blazing Comics cover...too bad one cover wasn't the 'Tec 168.
