    I know they’re swamped, but they’re supposed to be experts, the authorities on a comic’s authenticity. If they’re missing something as obvious as this how do we know they’re not missing subtle restoration? I wonder if in the future slabs from this year will be valued less by collectors?

    yeah they’re on the check out aisle that has pokemon and baseball cards. Usually just one box of them and one or two DC boxes. Not all walmart’s have them though 😕

    Drove around this weekend and all my walmarts have been cleaned out. There’s guys on youtube saying they’re buying $300 of them at a time so I’m not surprised

    well, I like that I can read them without being scared of creasing the spine or bending the corners 🙂 I thought that 2nd print of Nice House on the Lake looked cool too😄

    Is it weird that I love beat up silver age books? It’s a lot like vintage guitars, they look cooler when they’re well used 🙂

    I didn’t even know there were 2nd prints. I never see these in shops, or any star books for that matter ☹️

    When I was a kid I thought the new universe stuff was neat. I may reread the pitt and see if it holds up

    With prices rising I’m starting to really appreciate low grade copies nowadays.

    proteus was such an interesting character, they could make some wild stuff if they use him in live action

    I loved the concept but I can’t keep track of all the characters in my head. I’m looking forward to them venturing into the outer world, Tynion is my current favorite.

    How funny, that’s exactly when I dropped off too. I thought Lee’s panel layouts were hard to follow. I loved the marauders, reavers, sinister, genosha, jubilee hating on psylocke, all that 80’s stuff 🙂
