    My LCS has lots of copies of eniac 2 and 3 still on the shelf, as well as a handful of whalesvilles. I guess interest in them has waned?

    If they weren’t selling enough books they should have just made them easier to get. 🤷‍♂️ Did they even make “not first prints” for any of the books other than eniac 1?

    Picked this up at a comic shop last weekend. I know it’s nothing special but can you imagine finding ANY 12 cent marvel book for a dollar?

    I’ve seen a ton of the youtube guys I watch talking about their recent bad experiences, they’ve got a lot of views. CGC is doing real world damage to their brand.

    kids today are growing up with the mcu as their favorite movies. As a kid in the 80’s it was my love of star wars that got me to start reading comics, so who knows, maybe these kids will do the same?

    Now that I look a little closer the fantastic four one does say 2nd print, so some are reprints and some are not? The walmart editions I have don’t say reprint in the indicia but they do have the printing dates listed, they’re printed by a different company.

    It’s interesting to see some of them say walmart variant. I guess they’re not going to list them as reprints?

    I have a sentry fire safe also, they’re fine if you open them up regularly and keep dessicant bags in them (the fire proofing traps moisture).

    I was going to send some books again but after the price increase and all of the stories I’ve seen on youtube I’m going to hold off for a while, I was just doing it for my own pc. Also the examples of inconsistent grades (getting more strict etc) is making me question the value of grading. 😕

    Besides 1, 21, 26 and 27 what issues do you think will get attention? I doubt Zartan will be in the movie, even though he’s integral to his origin in the original comic run. What else is there? Hard and soft masters? Jinx?

    Cgc should make some info graphics about identifying these. I’ve seen them mislabel a bunch of 2nd prints as 1st prints, especially GI Joe books for some reason. Not all star wars reprints say reprint on the cover, and it’s not easy to spot in the indicia. I think I may do an episode about this on my vintage star wars comic youtube channel.

    When did Sub-mariner 1 9.0 become a 2-3k book? I look every now and then because that’s the grade I have, last time I looked it was 1k or less 🤷‍♂️
