Was at the ol' Mart again, so figured why not. Took four more. No foil to be seen but did land some decent books. Two copies of Nightwing 78, Batman 92 & 96, and a Detective 1024. 

Will be on the lookout for Batman 106 in future packs

The new 4 packs say 1:20 contain a foil variant. I gave one a shot, no luck

Went to 2nd and Charles over the weekend and yeah, couldn’t even get close to the Dr. Seuss books. Reason? It. Was. Packed! All the SPLC did was create attention where it had limited to none prior. It was awesome to see and reminded me of Tipper Gore’s inept attempt to censure music

See, back when censorship was a REAL issue - you COULD 'eliminate the option from everyone' very easily. That's no longer a real option. There's too many other ways to get access to whatever it is you want. A business can say "I don't support that - I don't want to carry it', and it doesn't really make that much of a difference, because you can get it elsewhere.

The whole point of censorship, was to eliminate the availability of it. That's almost impossible now. 

And in Fahrenheit 451, some people still possessed books. If it is not available to the masses, then it is being censored. 

Daredevil 25 might have a little juice

In the sports card world, centering is key. It affects the grade significantly. If that same reasoning applied to comics, I could understand the 9.8 chase. But a 9.8 with a horrendous fold or miscut/printing lines/any of that.. top dollar just doesn't make any sense

I'm a sucker for variants. Top notch talent should get its due.  I do wish more exclusive covers would incorporate some context from the issue, and not just be a portrait. Raw art vs computer and how much is too much is a good discussion. I'm also not sure if I should trust the production numbers of exclusives.
