  1. Exactly and it's not a specialized service. MCS is small potatoes, we are talking heritage baby! 8% is cheap, take 20% or let him list his own stuff.
  2. 20% same as what auction houses that offer a specialized service take.
  3. Interesting. I had read that but since it wasn't first monica rambeau outright, I didn't think it matterred. ASM Annual 16 must be going up too then (just assuming from the interest).
  4. I am surprised that isn't so far off the guide price, only a 14% premium.
  5. Unrelated. Bends and creases can bring a book down to the 5.0 range just as much as rips and such and structural damage (like water damage or stains, even small ones) will bring a book down to the 4.0 range. The amount of defects is also unrelated. One colour break can bring a book down to a 7.0, a bigger bend can bring it down to a 5.0 and a lengthwide bend will bring it down to a 4.0. And that is just 1 defect. In your case, you had some colour break, some staple tears, and creases in the back. Enough to bring it down to the 5.0 range.
  6. You must do one order/submission per tier. So if you have comics above 200$, then you have to select the next value tier (or whatever other tier you may want, if you want it to go faster). For max value, if you are doing moderns, then just say 200$. If it might be above that, check e-bay for recently sold items that are the same. But honestly, the value for insurance purposes only. Write whatever you'd want to get if CGC lost your book.
  7. It won't get green. It will probably be a 1.0 universal blue. Maaaaybe 1.5
  8. Yes, it's a grade crusher. I wouldn't expect more than a 5.0
  9. Might still be attainable but no guarantee. A press wont help remove it. Your best option if you want a 9.8 is to opt for screening.
  10. Possible but no guarantee. Could come back anywhere between 9.4 and 9.8. If it's gotta be 9.8 then opt for the screening.
  11. The better question is the following: Are you hoping that CGC recognizes that the comic has been signed? Because if yes, then this is not how it works, CGC only counts signatures they personally witnessed. As I wrote above, do not send these in, the signature will not be counted.
  12. your best bet is to write this question in the "ask CGC forum"
  13. the year has changed, so they retired the spider-man label. That's why you don't see it. Also, the two copies you posted are not in a condition I would deem good enough to send to CGC. They are worth as much slabbed as not slabbed in that condition so you are essentially losing 40$ per comic.
  14. Agreed. I thought it would be one episode per TV trope, as their reality settles in. But I also agree that if it was all in one longer episode, instead of two seperated chunks, I probably wouldn't be saying this. Digglet pokes his head out of the sand to say a big hello to you all.
