  1. Yeah, I think Jim Krazinsky as Reed will be reused, this sounds like a dry run to measure fan reaction.
  2. I'll admit, he really does a disservice to the Age of Ultron soundtrack by refusing to include the actual Avengers theme in the film.
  3. This film is definitely showing how stats compilated the way Rotten Tomatoes does definitely gives mediocre films and edge. I have yet to read any review stating that this film is amazing, most are saying it's fine. it's another marvel film, not bad at all but not amazing. And that's all you ned when your stat is based on a binary comment. 80% of people have clamed the film to be ok (or "not bad" or "good" or "fine" ect), so the film gets 80% even though the average grade given would be about 60-65%. From what I heard it isn't scary at all. Young kids have been at showings and there have been no reports of parents having to exit (unlike with films like Batman Returns).
  4. Wow, that means a lot. While I didn't think it was phenomenal at least it wasn't as bad as the Falcon and Winter Solder for me. That smashers plot was the most half baked plot I've seen in recent memory.
  5. Finale was pretty good, but I got so P O'd when they dared to that blackout thing again. It's the big finale, everyone is at their darkest moment even with Super Powers and we aren't even given a look at the Deus Ex Machina that solves everything. It's your finale, now is when you freaken show it!!!!! So yeah, I was not happy, especially since it's something they kept teasing. But at least we get that mid credit scene that tries making up for it. It does make the show end on a high rather than a low, and it calmed me down for some reason. The finale was fine aside from that deus ex blackout.
  6. I hope he does, I really like Black Bolt. I'm glad the actor gets another shot at it.
  7. It means it is very visual (show don't tell) with a mix of camp, humour, and horror.
  8. I just think it's a very original Marvel show. I found the last two episodes really riveting.
  9. Not knocking the guy, though I realize my post did come off that way. I was more knocking the fact that it seems risky to use a cast member linked directly to a show that really did not perform well and was no well recieved and further reference it.
  10. Even if the finale is bad, the show as a whole still has a lot going for it.
  11. I went with y wife the Friday night it came out and there was a total of 6 people in the room. But I think that's just more indicative of the film itself.
  12. There's been far worse endings (Dexter, Lost) so I was fine with this too. All the loose ends I cared about were wrapped up ok.
  13. They all have impact. If the book was perfect and it only had that writing on the cover, you'd see the impact it had. But the idea here is that you look at what is allowed in the grade range. You have a length wide crease, that brings it down to a 4.0. Is the price written on the cover allowed at a 4.0? Yes, so it stays 4.0. If your tear your cover in half, then that becomes the biggest issue, bringing the book down to a far lower grade, and at that point the length wide crease no longer matters.
  14. Gotta buy what you love. I liked the inhumans, so I bought those early issues of them 12 years ago just to have in my collection. Was a good move.
  15. Saw this thread pop up again and I'm surprised it's not because we now have a shot of Reed Richards in the Doctor Strange film.
  16. Came here since I know @Buzzetta would be all over this season. And while it is FREAKEN INTENSE there is a bit that just flies over my head. I get the cartel dynamics, I get the FBI deal, I get the laundering schemes, I get how Ruth has all the land and money she now has. But what I don't get is the whole Wendy storyline. As far as I can tell, the Byrdes don't actually have much money. Their stake in the casino and all they own is not really theirs, it's all the cartel's. So how in the world can wendy "own" the midwest? How is she powerful enough to do anything? She pays for this expensive lawyer, she can give 2 million in cash to her dad, but this isn't hers right? I gotta say that bit really confuses me.
  17. Beautiful book. And don't worry, that stamp won't affect the grade when it's midgrade
  18. People talk about the Snyderverse and DCEU as two different things.... are they? I thought the DCEU was just the DC version of the MCU, so like all the live action films that are connected.
  19. While I get that complaint, I was also being really antsy about the whole thing. I wanted the costumed fisticuffs! And I feel this episode delivered on that in a really fun and interesting way. I read some Moonknight and this whole Steven thing was very new to me so it was like understanding the character through new eyes. I really liked this episode. I can't believe it was just short of an hour since it felt like it just flew by for me. I have not experienced that in a long time.
