  1. No, they all come 1 per case except for the mandalorian who is 2 per case. It's more about demand for a particular character rather than supply.
  2. It was a great moment. I did find it funny how they off Brawn again as they did in the original G1 movie.
  3. That qualified label is becoming Shroedinger's slab. Not really related, but I always remember that story of a fellow boardie who bought a blue label book fir the centerfold he was missing and it turned it to be missing as well. But with the slab opened he now had 0 recourse to prove the issue.
  4. Lol wow, this is bad. I ain't deslabbing a qualified book ever after seeing this.
  5. Nope, a 9.0 would not be possible. You literally removed a part of the book. I think the highest possible would be a 7.0 but could be lower.
  6. I've had this happen with other pressers too (coming back with a flaw that wasnt pressed as I'd imagine). I am no expert, so I simply assumed that some defects arent as pressable as I thought.
  7. Contact customer service, writing here will not help.
  8. CGC's wait time and price is similar to the best in the industry. I used both them and an outside party and the results for modern books were comparative. So in the end, it's more about convenience. Do you want to deal with 2 different companies to get your books pressed and graded or 1. As others said though, if it's an older book, with issues like spine rolls or deep creases, I would go with a proven third party.
  9. Funny post. Joking aside, I keep looking at prices and things have definitely changed from when I started this thread.
  10. Not proud to say it, but I did too. And, to the other comments, I too loved Zombie strange. Raimi was firing on all cylinders at that moment. It's really cool how the trailer scenes were in the film but in totally different circumstances than I would gave guessed.
  11. What's the correct interpretation?
  12. Ah you're right, forgot about that part. Hey, something I didn't get. America (the character, not the country) speaks spanish and has a jacket with the stars and striped with her power being a star. So lot's of New York latino American iconography. But then we see her world and it's this utopian world that is totally unrelated to our own. So how the hell does that work? Kinda reminds me of my one issue with the Winter Soldier movie, when I first watched it. He's called the Winter soldier referring to the cold war between the US and the Soviets, uses Russian equipment (they specify that for some reason as if it's supposed to be important) and has the red Soviet star on his arm to contrast Captain America's iconography. And yet in that movie he is revealed to be an agent of Hydra worked on by Swiss, German and American Scientists? WTF? They of course explain it later in Civil War that he was trained in the Russian division of Hydra, so watching the film again that is never an issue. But still, that first time I watched Winter Soldier, it's as if the comic design and influence was totally at odds with the actual story on display.
  13. Woah wait, even Falcon and WS got a good response from people? Even after people watched the whole show? I'd attribute one of those stilted performances to rigor mortis.
  14. Speaking of school grades, I am VERY curious to see the cinemascore on this. As with Eternals, this is a very specific vision/style that, while it has a hardcore following, is not mainstream.
  15. Reshoots in this film are easier to notice than in others. Just look at when Wong has longer hair. Which means bits of the ending with Wanda were reshot along with the first against the giant one eyed monster in the beginning.
  16. They said what happened, it's an incursion event. That's a "normal" occuring event in the multiverse when worlds literally collide after meddling between them too much. It's not a big bad destroying the world. That's why the world is a shadow of it's former self, it's fading from existence, with ash everywhere (like when Thanos snapped his fingers) and gravity/physics is all busted. Only way to stop an incursion is to destroy the world that's closest to yours so that no collision occurs. Made for a pretty badass panel in the comics.
  17. Yup, I saw the car too. I was worried it would be in a crowded new york scene and that I would miss it since I don,t really have an eye for cars. But Raimi laid it out really clearly for anyone who might be in the know. I just came back from watching it and I thought it was pretty good, also quite relentless, and very very Raimi. I am not that big a Raimi fan. I get what he does but it's just not my thing. But then again, Raimi wants you to laugh at the goofiness of the situation and I did, so I guess I do get it and my body did react accordingly. I read a review that said people were laughing at the wrong parts but they just don't know a Raimi film. The contrast of an "emotional" or "inspiring" speech given to you by a corpse in exaggerated prosthetics IS the joke and Cumberbatch really goes broke making Raimi's dreams come true by adding this weird rigor mortis angle to his speech and jaw movement. That's one thing I will give this movie (and Marvel), they go for freaken broke! This is a Raimi movie through and through, not a cookie cutter Marvel film. How in the world did this get a PG13 rating?! Not saying the F word means you can show eye gouging, heads exploding Boys style, and rotting corpses coming to life? So yeah sounds like I enjoyed it, and I did, but fans of Raimi will undoubtedly like it more. I did have some serious issues with it: 1. Wong's hair is distracting AF. We are talking about a multimillion dollar film, if you have to do reshoots just give him a dam wig that's close enough to the other shot. Having his hair completely change in style and length from one shot to the next is really distracting and feels so damn cheap. 2. I don't get what was up with some music cues. I am referring to some guitar riffs that we here which seem really random with the scene at hand. 3. While the magic action is very good and fun, that martial arts fight with Mordo was terrible. Could they not have someone who knows how to direct a martial arts fight help Raimi with that? It reminds me of Taken 2 where they cut so frantically to hide any poorly shot action. And it's in a very tight space, could have made for a cool and fun fight, but instead it looks like . 4. Really dislike that first end credit scene. We end the film on a cliff hanger and it's only a cliffhanger for 5 minutes because it's immediately resolved in the end credit scene. 5. Why was Rinthra there if he did nothing? If you are going to have something or something stand out, then it would be fun to do something with it. 6. Mordo's accent was also very distracting. He was sounding like Matt Berry, don't know why he had to give that goofier spin on it. And those are my quibbles
  18. Yeah, it's not really comic relief, it truly is just straight up goofiness. People HAVE to be ready and know what a Raimi movie is before going into this film or else I guarantee it won't be enjoyed as much as it could. Word of warning to anyone reading this thread and interested in seeing this film, it is from the same director who did this (in what is considered a masterpiece film) If that scene above is not something you are into, then this might not be film for you.
  19. Don't know if this makes sense but I like Moon Knight as just a TV show, and not necessarily a MCU show or even a show about Moon Knight. It was so different from anything I had ever read of the character (didn't read the Lemire run, only read the O'Neil and Bendis runs) that to me it was a different show entirely and this disassociation/lack of connection actually made me enjoy it enough that I feel I didn't waste my time. Still not a fan of that blackout though.
  20. I'm thinking your nephew simply has good taste and couldn't stomache Batman and Robin ;)
  21. Haha, now that makes sense And yeah, I too liked aspects of both. In F&WS I really loved both title characters. When they are together, it's something special. It's just too bad they were in a show with such a lacklustre plot.
