  1. This drives me nuts as well, but I always send a polite, professional response, it's just part of doing business. I chalk part of it up to folks who don't look at feedback very closely and folks who've been burned before. There are always those sellers with high feedback but poor shipping practices who pull out the “I’ve shipped hundreds of books this way and never had a problem before” line when a package arrives wrecked.
  2. My mistake for including CGC in the search terms.
  3. It's not there or else I would not have asked for Gadzukes to provide it.
  4. Once you are settled, please let us know who the seller was.
  5. I deleted my email with link without even looking at it; sounds like i would have skipped it anyway if they are asking income, age, etc. I have to wonder if they meant other companies that grade comics, why didn't they say Grading Companies instead of graders? And since there's basically only 1-2 others, why would they have 5 options?
  6. Known as Newton Rings, they are the bane of the CGC slabbing process. Or one of them at least. Many threads on the subject, here's a meaty one: Depending on the style of the slab, you may be able to insert a piece of paper through the sides of the slab to separate the two plastics.
  7. Susan is first rate, but Kenny is the guy who brought restoration to an entirely new level. I'm not sure if she has his level of expertise in leaf casting, or if she even performs it.
  8. Yes, it was. It was resurrected by Toymachine78 and then Revat answered his question. My post was directed towards comicginger1789 and William-James88 who did not respond to the new post or the response, but to the original post from 2017. Perhaps you didn't perform the relevant reading.
  9. In case you haven’t noticed, you guys are responding to a post by the OP from 2017, and the OP has made all of two posts. There’s probably a good chance he’s no longer around.
  10. You might get better answers over in the Signature Forum: https://www.cgccomics.com/boards/forum/48-the-signature-room/ https://www.cgccomics.com/boards/forum/69-sigseries-event-central/
  11. Right. That's his long-time modus operandi. It's called "salting the mine," an old, old con game. Not every book he sells has been tampered with. I really suggest you read some of the many threads about him. He is a well-known scammer. You were lucky.
