  1. Zorr was a styrofoam glider/kite. He was tethered to a string by a clip you could yank once he was up in the air and then he’d glide down by himself. He was next to impossible to get up there and also broke easily. I suspect most kids had the same problem since he was not on the shelves very long.
  2. Oh yeah. I don't think I ever had one that last an entire season.
  3. I think Terrificon this weekend in CT looks like the pick to click. They have a killer guest lineup of old guys, who are the creators i'd like to see, and I understand the show draws dealers who don't turn up in Mass.
  4. Since moving from the Seaport World Trade Center to the Boston Convention Center, I've had no difficulties.
  5. I'd completely forgotten about those. Can't even remember if I actually had one (I think so) or just remember using my friends'.
  6. They might be VCDs. What do the backs look like? Where did they come from?
  7. Just one more, then I'll stop. Always had a good time with my Baby Bat kite.
  8. This was one of the toys at grandma's house, Bing Bang Boing!
  9. Lincoln logs and tin soldiers! (My dad handed his soldiers down to me; I've since handed them down to my son.)
  10. Completely agree about Heath's work on this issue. One of the best things he ever did. Thanks for the tip! Son of Satan is a back burner title for me; I'll have to pick up a copy of this.
  11. That's what I'd prefer, but King Cheap says "They're at least twice as expensive!" My weed wacker is electric and corded, but trying to mow with a cord does seem like it would be a hassle. Did you come up to Boston for the show?
