  1. I’ve never seen a copy without the hand-written issue number either. I’d bet money the entire run was printed that way, and I generally don’t gamble.
  2. That’s a great looking lower grade copy! You make it sound like a rag!
  3. These are more Atom Age, but close enough for rock and roll.
  4. I collect Atlas/Marvel Westerns because I enjoy them. Art by Kirby, Colan, Severin, Maneely, Williamson, Heath, Heck et al; What’s not to like? Though I have to admit I don’t care for Jack Keller’s work very much.
  5. If that's a Geisel my name is Marvin O'Gravel Balloon Face.
  6. He was positively on fire in the early '70s, health problems didn’t seem to affect his drawing at all, he just got progressively better. It’s truly a shame he died so young.
  7. Problem with that is the color touch is amateur which means materials that can't be removed were used; a magic marker would be in this category. I find that even when the CT is removable, the book often looks much worse afterwards. Areas where the cover has been scraped down to bare paper don’t appeal to me.
  8. Oddball Atlas issues.... Oddball Atlas issue collectors...
  9. Are they still priced over FMV? A link to your listings would help.
  10. Here’s where I am with some more of the B-Listers: Kamandi - have a full run of the Kirby issues. Strange Tales - have most of 169-188. Not a huge Warlock fan though. Ka-Zar - working on it when I’m in the mood . Sub-Mariner - yes. Demon - have a full run of the original series. Invaders - the first 24 or so. Marvel Spotlight - yes. Power-Man - up to around 52. Spectacular Spider-Man - up to around 42.
  11. I stopped after the Project Pegasus and Her storylines, around issue 60. Annual 7 is often overlooked in favour of Annual 2. I recently completed reader runs of Two-In-One 1-100 with annuals and Defenders from 1 into the 80s. Haven't sat down to read them yet. I had close to the whole run but I knew I would never get to the later issues so I gave up and sold them. I already have a backlog of stuff that I’m looking forward to sitting down to read.
  12. I'm starting to forget what I posted already.
  13. I like those, especially the Girls' Love. Great cover.
