  1. Those fit in with the time frame, but I believe technically they are considered Millie the Model Annual (or Special), the final two issues numbered consecutively after starting at #1 in 1962.
  2. I hope you’re not laying the book flat on a scanner in that shot with the cover open. That’s a good way to stress or damage a spine; the cover is already detached at the top staple. I was thinking more like a 2.0, but maybe I’m being too harsh.
  3. I don’t have many of my Giant-Size books scanned, but here’s one of them: Giant-Size Man-Thing #1 is a great book. Extra length story with typical weird Gerber mysticism, Man-Thing vs. Glob battle and art by Mike Ploog plus a handful of first-rate pre-hero reprints as backup.
  4. I love Shad, but this article is more factually correct: https://peerlesspower.blogspot.com/2012/10/giant-size-headache.html
  5. Yeah, that's my first thought. Heritage would probably bring the highest hammer price for items like those. I'd give them a call and see what they say.
  6. Written by one of our own, though Mike hasn’t posted here in some time, and chock full of in-depth research.
  7. I probably won't have time to list anything else. If not, I'll close out the thread and send invoices tonight or tomorrow. Thanks for looking!
  8. When Captain America throws his mighty shield, all those who chose to oppose his shield must yield! Captain America #100, VG/4.0. Tear on FC, 1-3/4" and a 1/4" piece of old tape on the inside. $100. SOLD!
  9. Fantastic Four #27, VG-/3.5. Slight tanning on inner covers, spine tear at lower staple but still attached. $45 SOLD!
  10. This will most likely be a small sales thread. I have a few early FFs to list, a TOS pre-hero and maybe a few other things. Sales details are as follows: I can ship up to 3-4 books in the Priority Envelope for $6.70; boxed a little higher and at cost (around at $7-$10) but will cheerfully consider other options such as First Class (starts at $4.00) if you want to keep the costs down. PM for international shipping quotes or questions. As usual, drop the if you'd like the book in the thread or via PM. In the event more than one person would like a book, the first by timestamp gets it regardless whether via PM or in the thread. Payment is expected within 7 days of invoice; payment accepted via PayPal; checks (if I know you) or postal money orders are fine, too. And of course, if you're not happy, return the books for your money back.
  11. There is no need for any of this. The buyer paid, the seller ships book. That's it. It's that simple. I don’t see what the seller did wrong in his initial contact. Was he too formal? I’ve also had folks buy things whose ebay addresses that did not match their PP addresses. Maybe I’m misunderstanding things. OP buys item. Seller starts to process order, see addresses that don’t match (a potential red flag for getting ripped off) and asks OP to confirm his address. OP writes aggressive, snide response without confirming address. Seller decides, “Uh-oh. This is trouble.” and cancels order. Like jsilverjanet, i would have probably written a second email rather than cancelling the sale, but if the seller sees different addresses, what is the big deal about confirming the correct one?
  12. And now some poor schlub who had 100% positive feedback, all of it very favorable, has 95%.
