This will be a mix of mostly Marvels and maybe miscellany with a few reruns included.
Sales details are as follow:
I can ship up to 3-4 books in the Priority Envelope for $9; boxed a little higher and at cost (around $10-$13) but will also cheerfully ship via First Class (starts at $6.00) to keep the costs down. A single slab at $13. PM for international shipping quotes or questions.
As usual, drop the if you'd like the book in the thread or via PM. In the event more than one person would like a book, the first by timestamp gets it regardless whether via PM or in the thread. If you're on any lists, forget about it. Payment is expected within 5 days of invoice, payment accepted via PayPal. And of course, if you're not happy, return the books for your money back; however, no returns on slabs.

Thanks a lot! I still have a ways to go and lots to learn, but I can at least finish a kit feeling mostly satisfied.

I unexpectedly had less than 2 hours to spend at the show so I didn't do a lot of longbox diving. Some dealers' inventory was priced very optimistically. I pulled an Astonishing #55 from one box that was no better than a rough VG on a good day that was priced at $200; that's about 4x what it usually goes for. Pressed for time, it was a one-and-done day for me but I'm happy with my pickup.

I feel like the female population was down this year from the past few years. Most of the women there seemed to be tagging along with their significant other. There was one woman, around 30ish, in Terry's booth haggling over the price of a Wonder Woman comic while I was standing nearby but, overall, it was largely a sea of flabby dudes lugging backpacks.
There were only two costumes from what I saw. That's still two too many.
I assume one was that Carnage dude? At least I think it's Carnage. Pretty sure he's shown up every year, saw him in the parking lot suiting up as I was leaving. Gotta be one of my least favorite costumes since it takes up a ridiculous amount of space with those stupid arms and it's not really a venue with room for something that size.

I did not care for the trailer but I *might* go check it out tomorrow if I have extra time. I'm kind of curious and wonder "It's got to be better than the trailer, right?"

As always, if any sellers have a small description of their booth that they would like me to add next to the link to their booth in the "Index Of Sellers" thread, just PM me or post it here in the discussion for me to see and I'll add it asap.
"Silver and Bronze Marvel & DC, comic magazines, posters, mostly cheap" would be fine for me.

There's a lot of variables involved, and many depend on your personal preferences. Is this a keeper or a book you intend to sell? If you're keeping it, how much do these defects bug you? It may make more sense to sell it as is and buy another copy. The tape and color touch would bother me more than the waviness. If you plan to sell it, I'd leave it as is.
Slight color touch may not be as slight as you think. Many times the way to remove CT is to scrape it off which can have hideous results, but some people prefer to have a Blue Label with ugly scraping rather than a Purple that presents better. The red area under "Man" looks blotchy in the photos. If that's where the CT is and if they can remove it, it won't be pretty when they're done.

Nice job! It looks great!
When you made your initial request, I wondered if it was legit given your join date and post count. Glad to see it was.

I have checked, and there no games. Also, Invision closed their marketplace. I'll keep an eye out for a creator to post one on their forum. BTW, I am banned for posting on their forum. Maybe our company wide e-mail change did it. I have been trying to get back in for months.
What does your dog think about the Invision forum?

I enjoyed Edinburgh when I was there, but I wasn't looking for comics. Beautiful city, great place to visit!

I would not send that book in for grading. It's a common book and only about $40 in 9.4, and that copy isn't a 9.4.

Some guys even show up on Thursday. Any VIP badge to any show isn't worth it, People's best bet is to try and get a dealer's pass and show up before

Are all of you guys looking at the OP's book? Those photos are so small I can't see anything. The second book he posted for comparison has plenty of spine and other wear. The OP is saying his book (first) looks nothing like the second book but received the same grade. Of course, it probably doesn't matter since he's another ghost poster.
