  1. Pam Grier! I dunno. I'm seeing some spine stresses and a slight stacking curl. Is that a bit of scuffing in the colophon? It also looks like there's still some dirt, soiling or stains, but maybe that's just an artifact from the photo or my monitor. If I'm not seeing things, *maybe* a 7.5 or 8.0? If I am seeing things, probably a bit higher. What do the previous grader's notes say? Great book in any case!
  2. Mold/mildew ULC? Sell it and get a copy without.
  3. Are we approaching the end? Where do we stop, 101? 102? Are we taking the party over to the Bronze forum?
  4. Here's my reader and my CGC copy, which I bought many years ago from my pal Nik for about the cost of slabbing.
  5. https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_trksid=m570.l1313&_nkw=magazine+cgc&_sacat=0
  6. I guess I'm not surprised, but it seems to me a lot of folks here are reading a LOT into a 4 minute newscast.
  7. Marvel Tales #1, Groovy #3, Two-Gun Kid #68 at 30% off.
  8. So it looked sucky and when you got it even more sucky?
  9. The top staple can't be seen because as timfinz thought, the book is not open at the centerfold. The centerfold is the next page over. I don't see any issues with the staples. I see both top and bottom staples in the pictures, they don't appear damaged and haven't popped or pulled through.
  10. That's quite a score! I think a 4.0 sounds reasonable.
  11. I'm late again. Perhaps my subconscious desire was not to post these due to their shameful condition. I'm joking, but this thread has been a good reminder for me which issues I'd like to upgrade. I have a tendency to forget after I finish a run and file them away. Oh - and #87 has got to be one of Jack's least-inspired covers of the run.
  12. When I've needed to clean used Bandai Godzilla and Ultraman kaiju figures I've picked up, I've mostly used a microfiber cloth, a toothbrush, water and a pinch of dish soap. There are also natural, non-abrasive cleaners like Seventh Generation, which I believe is sold in Canada.
  13. That first page isn't Ditko, though it's modeled after his conception of inter-dimensional worlds. Marie Severin and/or Dan Adkins? Just looked it up, I was close. Tom Palmer and Dan Adkins.
