And I like how they cite prices for a 2.0 - 8.0 ("Overstreet 2021 GD 2.0 value = $9,600; VG 4.0 value = $19,200; FN 6.0 value = $38,400; VF 8.0 value = $110,400.") rather than prices for a .5/NG/coverless, which is how it would be graded now.

The last coverless copy went for over $15k on Heritage, so I think this one has a way to go. Single pages have been hitting $3-5k on ebay. Nutty. Those were sales from The Dentist Jr., too, so I'm inclined to believe they're legit.

I think Jim is in the same position as a lot of dealers, replacing inventory of that ilk has become more challenging.

Seems to make a connection for whom? There's a battery of wildly overpriced copies on ebay with the same non-factual claim that this book is connected to Marvel and the MCU. It's simply not true. Because "everybody is doing it" is a reason to bend the truth and hope a rube bites? And if you didn't notice, those copies are just sitting.

But this is a completely different Black Knight by a different publisher and has no relation to the Marvel Comics Black Knight of the '50s and '60s nor the MCU.

I think I'm seeing the same things that Point Five is, and if he was too harsh on #361, I may have been too loose! There sure looks like a bend to me on the LLBC #238 that appears to go all the way through to the front. There's also some spine tics/creases i see on the back, to the right of the top of the Cobra box, and then above that near the bottom corner of the main ad illustration

The Boards are chock full of many long-term, trustworthy dealers, from the local to the national, and collectors. I would suggest checking the Comics Market - Forum Only Selling Area regularly. Until you know your way around the Boards, the WTB section may not be your best bet and I'd ALWAYS avoid PMs from anyone with such a low post count looking to sell a high-ticket book.
