  1. So for comic and pop culture-type gifts that I got, my son picked out this cool graphic novel biography of Bela Lugosi, and the missus got me a Turok #56 and Namor #41 (having mistook it for a SA Sub-Mariner #41): My son got a few TMNT bboks, a GOTG comic, Blu-ray of the Ultraman Leo series and Marvel 2022 calendar: He also got a Mego Creature (his old Diamond Select Creature falls into the highly used "well-loved" condition scale) and Mego General Ursus: as well as a very nice assortment of Bandai Ultraman and Toho kaiju to add to his collection: Plus, Santa got the family the Night Stalker on Blu-Ray.
  2. IIRC some folks have done just that, depending on the severity of the puddling.
  3. For me, probably these X-Men and a piece of Kirby concept art for the Herculoids.
  4. I don't usually have collecting goals, but I suppose finishing off my single digit X-Men issues would be one, and finishing some of my other runs where I'm only missing a few issues would be another.
  5. I don't, I just block them. I don't have the time and I figure it may just encourage them to create a new account, which they might do anyway but why give some person_too_unaware_of_social_graces the heads-up that people are catching on to their game?

  8. I'll second what Ken Aldred said. For anyone who started collecting in the pre-internet '70s, his indexes were an invaluable resource, as well as just being fun to read even if you already had the books. R.I.P.

  10. No. A refund is as fast as a button click. Last week I refunded a buyer for overpayment of shipping. It took me maybe 15 seconds. I received notification from ebay at 8:04 it was being processed, and another at 8:13 that the buyer had been refunded. Two days ago, same scenario. It was being processed at 10:19 and the refund issued at 11:11. File for your refund through ebay. That will light a fire under his can.
  11. I think that will do it unless I fish out some more stuff. Thanks for looking!
  12. Finally, last and least, Comic Care polyethylene bags, silver sized, pack of 100, $10.
  13. X-Men #10, FR, Moisture damage, cockling, staple rust and migration, centerfold detached with 2" slit below the upper staple, smells fine, $125.
  14. With so many large, successful, chock full o' keys sales threads recently, I thought I'd try the opposite approach. This will be a small thread with a few Bronze and Silver Marvels. Apologies if you sat through any in the VCC. Sales details are as follow: I can ship up to 3-4 books in the Priority Envelope for $8; boxed a little higher and at cost (around at $10-12) but will also cheerfully ship via First Class (starts at $5) to keep the costs down. PM for international shipping quotes or questions. As usual, drop the if you'd like the book in the thread or via PM. In the event more than one person would like a book, the first by timestamp gets it regardless whether via PM or in the thread. If you're on any lists, forget about it. Payment is expected within 5 days of invoice and is accepted via PayPal. And of course, if you're not happy, return the books for your money back. Here comes the cakeboat! Who wants some?
  15. The there's #101 with the FF being put into coffins on the cover. Was it subtle commentary by Jack or just coincidence? I'm in the commentary camp, even if it was subconscious. @KirbyJack Did you ever pick up Fantastic Four: The Lost Adventure? If not, what are you waiting for?! https://www.comics.org/issue/394673/ Getting back on-topic, if I could have any page from Silver Surfer #18 it would be the final page, an amazing splash loaded with vitriol. Doesn't a Boardie own it?
