  2. If you're new to this, you may be in for a surprise if you're not well-versed in grading standards. Do you have pictures of the books? You may want to post them here https://boards.cgccomics.com/forum/42-hey-buddy-can-you-spare-a-grade/ to get opinions from other boards members.

  7. I'll bet Timely is right; pretty sure I saw a recent thread where LionsDen and Greggy mentioned him.
  8. Always at least one; they were founded by husband and wife Lux Interior and Poison Ivy. Other members rotated through the years and there were several other women as well.
  9. This thread. It almost feels like the aughts again.
  10. I am firmly in the encapsulate as is camp, as long as it can be done safely. Which is exactly what my concern would be. Given all the QC issues we've been seeing regularly for an extended period, my question would be "Is CGC capable of slabbing this book without damaging it?"

  12. Crazy Cow was basically Cocoa Puffs (chocolate Kix) with a Nestle Quick-type coating that made the milk in your cereal bowl "chocolate." They also had a strawberry version. No sugary cereals for the Lil' GAC? Mom just fed you Muesli and Grape Nuts? Say, why does Euell Gibbons wear purple underwear?

  14. I forgot to mention there's also a current Playmates line that makes a Gorosaurus, and that one is probably at the local target or Walmart. The figures Playmates have been putting out aren't as nice as Bandai, though. I also haven't seen the Playmates version in person; the convenience and cost might outweigh finding a Bandai. And while I'm at it, board member Crowzilla runs this great site for kaiju collectibles: https://showcasedaikaiju.com/
  15. And brand new! Bandai conducted a poll to decide on which figures to revive, and Gorosaurus was among the winners. (Along with Megalon and Jet, Jaguar.) This was great news since the original '90s Gorosaurus goes for more than $100 these days. He's part of the 6" series figures which is great for interacting with the current 6" line, but he's a bit smaller than the '90s 8" series King Kong.
