Listing a few books over the next few days. First wins. This works for PM and in the thread. No one on any lists or if I have you on ignore. Consider all books pressed. Shipping is included. Sales on slabs are final (no returns) so please ask questions.

Should I press my hulk 181?
joeypost replied to jason4's topic in Comic Book Grading and Restoration Issues
It has potential. -
Legend has it he remarked the Hulk head over Trimpe's version. IMO, Hulks head always looked topo small in that picture.

Could also be from the Western Penn pedigree.

Hulk 180 w/pen marks - need a little help
joeypost replied to myboyluke's topic in Newbie Comic Collecting Questions
I guess I jumped the gun on the spine roll. Would need to see a full back cover scan, as it could be a miswrap. -
Hulk 180 w/pen marks - need a little help
joeypost replied to myboyluke's topic in Newbie Comic Collecting Questions
I see spine roll that can be fixed along with some light creases on the spine. I am assuming the ink is sharpie and will do some experimenting. -
Is it worth pressing/cleaning this FF#1
joeypost replied to fishpaul's topic in Comic Book Grading and Restoration Issues
Personally there is no need to press this book right now. It is fine as is, and if the owner decides to sell , have the work done just before putting it on the market. -
Anyone ever go down a grade after a resubmit?
joeypost replied to Gruson's topic in Comic Book Grading and Restoration Issues
Could be the rust worsened in-between the grading, or it could be it was not hammered the first time around. Over time CGC has changed their stance on things like foxing, certain production issues, distributor ink, color rub, etc. -
Anyone ever go down a grade after a resubmit?
joeypost replied to Gruson's topic in Comic Book Grading and Restoration Issues
When playing the CPR game you need to have more than one book. If you submit one book and it comes back lower, your fail rate is 100%. If you send in 20 you usually come out on the upside, even if some books stay the same or go down. It's the model I have used, and its worked pretty well for me. -
Just the one. First Star-Lord or Prince. Pressed Shipping is included. First gets it. No returns, so please ask questions. No one on any lists,or if you are on ignore,is allowed to take anything. Sorry for the really bad pictures. $700.00

ASM 1 Todd Signing Grade

It still can. -
I could see 8.5 in a good day. All depends on who presses and cleans it.

Restoration Question: Famous Funnies 1.
joeypost replied to Ryan Vandal's topic in Comic Book Grading and Restoration Issues
Get in touch with Kenny Sanderson (Ze-Man on the boards). He does lots of work for CGC board members and his reputation speaks for itself.
