  1. yep. just like GI JOE 21 and ASM 301, now they're everywhere. And those two polybagged UXM in the late 290s. I have to disagree here. The UXM books had pressable defects. GI Joe 21 did not have an issue with defects in the print run. ASM 301 is pretty much the same as GI Joe 21. This is a book manufactured with enough damage that none so far have gotten the 9.8 designation. Thats pretty rare for a book from this time period.
  2. I think we may have to inquire of a higher source Tom. Santa?!? Santa isn't real. I was thinking higher.
  3. Production defect. Ask anyone who collects Wolverine runs know how hard it is to find. I have been looking for years for a friend and cannot find a copy that comes close to 9.6, let alone 9.8.
  4. [font:Book Antiqua]Are you saying that a signature of Stan Lee decrease the price of a book...? Interesting...[/font] Personally I would rather see Starlin or Romita's signature on this book.
  5. Don't have the book back from CGC yet, but my Where Monsters Dwell #17 was graded 9.4 OW/W. I have been searching for a NM copy of this book for 5 years.
  6. Is this the issue where Cap is holding up part of the Statue of Liberty? I remember reading this one as a kid.
  7. Baltimore was a very good show for picture frame books. Picked up some hard to find horror, western and Romance PF's this weekend.
  8. WW Chicago had two companies offering on-site pressing and CGC had the best on-site grading numbers ever. You figure it out.
  9. With Joe's new additions I say the fight now is for second place in the registry.
  10. I lose on a technicality, really. It was late and I quoted the wrong image. You guys are worse than the jeopardy judges.
  11. I wonder who is the dude from Florida. Wasn't me.
