Thanks to Greg for a very smooth and seem-less transaction. Great communication, easy to deal with, and fast, expert packaging. Looking forward to more deals in the future!

just picked this up from HA for a decent price. perhaps the first book i've bid on in awhile that has benefitted from the market's softening. until now, everything i looked at was still going for gpa or over. though it was cheaper than it would have been last year, still quite a bit more than in 2020.
Congrats, that is a truly stunning book Alex! I've always loved all those Adams' X-Men covers and especially that classic one with Havok! Here are a couple I use to own in my collection before selling them off about 16 years ago and then deciding to focus on Spidey

Have you read the grader's notes for that? I'd think about regrading it unless the notes mention a significant little defect. That looks nicer than a 9.0 book.
Thanks! I've never read the grader's notes but I have noticed non-color breaking bends on the back cover which assuredly brought down the grade. I'm not into pressing books, so it'll likely stay a 9.0 for as long as I own it

Was just curious, but that is some love
Thanks! Would love to complete the run up to #50 but that is going to be a very long endeavor. Hoping to eventually complete it though, as I do already have a #50

if true, why didn't mj and ned know him as pre-reveal peter when he walks into the diner?
That did have me a bit confused at the end. I thought just his Spidey identity would be forgotten but everyone would still remember Peter as before

Avengers # 1 and # 4 Club
in Silver Age Comic Books

Thank you! Many of the "mid-grade" copies I seemed to encounter had some chipping or pre-chipping issues. I'm sure it's not as prevalent with the higher grade copies. To my understanding, by Jan of 1964 chipping was not a common problem at Marvel, although there were still books that exhibited it over the SA years. I've seen it alot on ASM #33...
