  1. As are you Andy. As are you. Aw, thanks Dave....but it's Keith's turn now.
  2. great to hear from you Keith! Nothing but best wishes for you and your auction results. also glad that you're not leaving our fine hobby. You are definitely an asset to the whole comic market and to the niche market of war books in particular. I'm really blessed to have met so many greats from our little community. Andy
  3. Keith, are you here reading this? Wish you would pop in from time to time. I'd love to hear your thoughts on how things are going so far with your auctions. The big ones are coming up verrrrrrrry soon.
  4. Sorry John, I didn't see this post until now. Unfortunately, the contest has begun. Next time, if you see my nomination thread, that's the time to put up the books that you really like. Sorry about this time. There's the DC War Comic Cover Survivor Series going on right now. If you could, and all reading, please check out the Survivor Series threads as the rounds go by and get your votes in. Much appreciated. (thumbs u Andy
  5. I'm thinking the OAAW 82 should do well. It's an extremely undervalued book. I hope all of the books do really well, to be honest, but that's kind of hanging on the right buyers being in the market at the right time, with a bunch of cash to spend. Good luck, Keith Marlow! I will be trying to win some books back.
  6. The DC War Comic Cover Survivor Series Round 1 is officially open for voting. It's quite overwhelming with 156 covers to begin with, but please do your best to vote off some of the "stinkers". Thanks all! Andy

  8. Sounds great Shep and I need a Chris Pedrin Guide after donating my copy I received from Lizards2 at one of our fundraisers. I wish I had the coin on hand and I might have to pass. I finally found a nice copy of one of my favorite DC War greytone covers thanks to October. Thanks Andy for running the survivor series in CG on DC War. My pleasure. (thumbs u Make sure you post this cover of Cpt. Storm, I can't recall if it's been nominated or not. Last chance for all of us, actually. I'll take all the books posted up until tomorrow night. Thanks for posting your faves, as well, friends. Andy

  11. sorry, folks, I did a search but found nothing. this thread can die it's natural death now.....
  12. Forgive me if any of the following information is already well-known or just a fluke. Futurama #1 is $16.50 with over a day left. IDW TMNT #1 Newsstand variant $23.72 with over 6 days remaining.
  13. Since the other thread has passed on, it's only suitable to have a successor. The purpose of this thread is to share information within this community, on which modern books are doing well, and getting hot, on eBay. I'm very out of the loop with the moderns, but I will continuously check back with this thread, so I can have a better understanding of the current market. Thanks in advance to all of the contributors. Andy
  14. Beautiful, I'd rather have this than the 168 any day! Nice one. gotta agree! (thumbs u
  15. I was wondering what the feel has been lately, thanks for posting this. (thumbs u 1) Man, I wish Ted contacted me. The boy's got my number..... 2) Lucky guy! 3) I'd love to have one for a keepsake. 4) It's a niche market collected by a small number. If that number ever got a significant boost one day, these great books will look like a steal, even at today's numbers. Andy
  16. very tough book to find in any grade.
  17. Oh, lastly, I was scanning through Heritage's war books and there's a boatload more than the bunch that I supplied links to. A boatload!
  18. Oh yeah, #88, absolutely insane to find in high grade. Right Mick?
  19. Wow, I've never really scanned the census to see the toughest of that washtone group. Big surprise that it is #93. I always knew that #80 is as tough as nails and there's definitely some others, but 93? Huh!
  20. I think that the prices on the sub-9.0 stuff will be pretty good. But I'm usually wrong on these things! BTW, got the books - sweetazz as always!
