  1. Kudos to r1970d . He nailed the grade on a very nice book that just came back from CGC just as he called it.
  2. Man, you guys are killing me with the Daredevil Pedigrees. All awesome books. Wish I wasn't such a tight azz with the money. That and Daredevils seem to elude me. It is my favorite Marvel title, and the one that I own the fewest books in higher grade in slabs. Great books. Thanks for sharing them.
  3. So....Who is going after the two 9.6's from the Hollywood Hills collection closing on ebay tonight. Pushing $400 for the #158 already.
  4. Thanks Forrest, it was a genuine pleasure dealing with you.
  5. I hope to find a higher grade copy of this one day, but for now I was happy to get this off of ebay. Even though it was from a seller I don't really like to buy from.
  6. Nice book Rich. I tried vary hard to get that book for a long time, but was not able to get the seller to budge on his price. Nice job, congratulations!
  7. Kudos to lizards2 for a nice easy trade of some SA Marvels.
  8. One of a few Atlas war comics I picked up at Megacon. It's hard to find these in much better condition than this.
  9. Wow, I love that Cap. Here is another Marvel I picked up at FX this pat weekend.
  10. Actually, I'm glad I missed out on it. I never bothered to read the lable other than the page quality and the grade. So, it was good that I missed it.
  11. My favorite of about 20 Higher grade unslabbed books I picked up this past weekend at the FX in Orlando. I always say, If the show stinks and sales are slow then buy, buy, buy. Just wish my wife would agree.
  12. Anyone know about these? Looks like the price in the starburst is stamped in. Looking at the back cover it was obviously reprinted in the Phillippines by National Book Store, Inc. The inside covers are similar to the bc with list of books to mail order. None of which are comic books I wonder how soon after US publication it was reprinted? What other issues may have been reprinted. Considering it looks like they were printed for distribution in the Phillippines, and out of only six store locations, there must not be very many. How does this compare to other foriegn variants?
  13. It isn't rare because it is not a price variant. All Marvels were priced at 35 cents by this time. It is a variant because it has the diamond rather than the square box price. The difference being direct sales and news stand. Some people refer to these as Marvel Whitmans. The Star Wars fat diamond variants are pretty easy to come by, but some of the other Fat diamond Variants are pretty hard to find in higher grade. Such as, X-men #118.
  14. I might have posted this before, but here's one you don't see to often.
  15. Since no one else has posted this yet, I might as well show off my copy.
  16. Kudos going out to: Korvac Saga for some sweet Strange Tales. Love the #116 osborn_france for a quickly shipped DD #7 all the way from France. Brozebruce13 for some well packaged BA
  17. Kudos to Arexcrooke and BIghulkfan both, for very smooth trades on some great SA.
  18. Nice pick up. I was considering this book through a PM and by the time I replied it was sold. Glad you were able to snag it. I am curious, this copy is for sale on the Metropolis web site and has been for a while. What's up with that? Anyone know?
