    Star Wars 68

From the album: Star Wars CGCs

  2. Please with this. I was worried about the scratch on the FC that is mentioned in the notes. Everyone was around the CGC grade, but a wider range than other books from this batch
  3. Doesn't read like the notes for a 6.5. I thought 7.5ish scratch right top of back coversmall finger creases right center of front cover
  4. If I read these notes, it almost sounds like the spine split wasn't considered too bad. I'd have said it was the worst defect. I don't remember any fingerprints. Don't know if I'll be able to see them through the case light finger bends on coverlight spine splits to coverlight, multiple spine stress lines breaks colormoderate creasing to covermoderate fingerprints on cover
  5. Tough but fair I guess. I'd say it mostly looks better than the average 4.0, it's just a rough outer edge.
  6. one bullseye by @Mars76 and a hedged bullseye by @grebal totally ok with an 8.0 on this one
  7. I like the way it looks, but a little disappointed in the grade. I thought it looked much better than this
  8. Y'all were mostly a tad low. Pressed up nice. I understand my 180 to complete the set should be back by the time I return from a short trip
  9. Most of us were to high on this one. I though for sure this would be at least a 9.0, and probably better
  10. I'm pretty sure that's an oil transfer stain (looks like a frame at the top of the BC) to go along with some regular soiling. I think max 6.0 with C/P & more like 5.0/5.5
  11. I think it counts if you add any two of your 4.0s as an 8.0
  12. it looks like one of those oil transfer stains, but I reserve judgement
  13. I'm having trouble telling the difference between shadows and dark spots on the book in these photos. It would be most helpful
  14. Pretty nice looking. It really will depend how harshly CGC treats the oxidation of the paper/cover around the edges. I believe they can be a little more lenient with these GA books with that defect. 8.0/8.5 with upside into the 9s. I'd how some of the GA specialists like @Point Five will have a look. None of this issue on the census, so it's a guaranteed top grade if submitted.
  15. At the limit of photo grading, I don't see anything >9.2
  16. couple of little spine tics. Probably anything except a 9.8 possible
  17. the greyscale background might be good at hiding little defects, but I don't see much going on. The inner covers might be starting to darken. 9.0 or better. I don't have a lot of confidence picking a NM range grade for this one. Very nice looking copy. I do really like this style cover. There's a few of them from this era using grayscale, and they're all pretty cool.
  18. 5.0/5.5 b/c of the staining. 6.0 would be a little bit of a stretch
