  1. To be honest I’ve since forgotten the name but it was an Asian female.
  2. Those Amazing Fantasy Newsstands are exceedingly difficult to find. Only ones I’ve found are #2,3,7, 15. I bought the AF15 for $50 on eBay and got $1200 from an award winning Hollywood Writer when I sold it.
  3. In my area there was a drop off starting in the mid to late 90’s. Starting in the 2000’s it was only the local Borders that had any comics and it was never consistent title wise.
  4. Funny you mention those particular books as I just listed a nice newsstand set on eBay. I appreciate when you give us updates, it’s always informative.
  5. There’s not much of a difference in price between the two for that era of books. Newsstands were sold everywhere during that period.
  6. They were still printing newsstands so it’s possible. I’m unsure of any database showing what books were available as a newsstand but it’d be a great resource. I have dozens of books I’ve been looking for in Newsstand and they’ve yet to surface. I know over in the Image Newsstand thread a few titles like Spawn & Witchblade have the last Newsstand issues listed.
