  1. So I guess I found the answer my own question. I asked CGC and here's what the representative wrote me: My reply: So I can get the pedigree signature series signed and have it be an official signature but keep the gold pedigree label? [Apparently the Black/Grey Pedigree label is actually called a "Gold" label] And CGC's final reply: That is correct!
  2. I apologize if this has been answered before, but what label will a comic get if it is a pedigree that Is signed under the Signature Series? Does it automatically get the yellow label? Can you retain the black (grey?) pedigree label instead? Thank you!
  3. It's a good looking book. I've tried to highlight the flaws: a couple things in the middle top of the cover, pinhole in the red rectangle with team member heads (sorry don't know what this is called) staples starting to rust, subscription crease that only breaks color on the back cover, not the front. It definitely needs a press. Trying to figure out if I should try and sell raw or press and grade. I'd love to get a signature from Roy Thomas, but don't see that happening any time soon. Thank you.
  4. Does Paul Smith do any signings and/or participate with CGC SS? X-men 168 is one of my favorite covers and I’d love to have it signed by him. Thank you!
  5. Perhaps my question is so dumb it doesn't deserve an answer, so if that is the case, please forgive me. But let me pose it another way: if there is a 3 day con, must a CGC signature witness work all 3 days of the con, or can he/she work only 2 of the days and spend the 3rd day not working but attending as a patron (i.e., getting signatures for themselves)? Thank you!
  6. Last year, I finally got my childhood comic collection from my mother's basement. Last year, I also got my first signatures ever and did my first CGC submissions ever at Baltimore Comic Con (see photos). Since then, CGC has invited me to apply to be a signature witness. I have applied, but I believe I will also like to get a number of signatures at next year's con (having just dipped my toe in the water, I have been bitten by the bug, and am excited that my over protective attitude towards my collection has left the comics in good condition). While I understand I couldn't be a witness to getting my own signatures, as a practical matter, are signature witnesses also able to obtain signatures for CGC Signature Series at the cons they work at? Or is there really no practical way to do both? Thank you very much!
  7. Are there any coming up in 2020 other than through Desert Wind Comics? Thanks!
