  1. It would help if everybody else did not post while I was posting and cause my post to be out of place. I am privileged, you know. How do you know I wasn't posting about the pigeon, anyway?
  2. I always liked her. I think it was because of the hairband.
  3. Why any person, including sue, would want a crotch killer is mystifying to me. Those things are dangerous.
  4. Maybe they dont comprehend what you meant since its gibberish and you are not a mind reader. So, second request-any way you can rephrase that, but in English? Maybe I can help: "No one else seems to have trouble comprehending my sentence-maybe the problem lies with you".
  5. That is the spirit!! Humor is the great equalizer. Recognizing it when it is intended is the hard part.
  6. No they can't. I don't think they need to be kicked out yet, but it is getting closer.
  7. I wonder if it is possible that you did not see the xoxoxo in the post. It is not my business, but that post did not come across to me as any bit of a threat, or kicking someone out. I interpreted it as humor.
  8. I support this, on both sides of the border.
  9. Now I understand. You don't laugh much.
  10. Great. The U.S. Feds just approved funding for a wall around Champlain, NY.
  11. I think Wertham professional peers would clinically define the fundamental methodological error as impossibly wacky. On the subject of causative factors, comics were lovingly embraced by our troops and the american public in general, and provided an escape from the daily turmoils of the time. The mythical correlation of comics to juvenile delinquency was a phony scheme cooked up by meddling authoritarian adults and religious zealots, to explain their own failures to connect with children and provide a healthy influence. The same type of scheme was used to describe any person that had anything to do with a motorcycle as a juvenile delinquent/Hells Angel in the 50s/60s. Harley Davidson and Triumph had the last laugh on that subject.
  12. Labeling the work as pseudo-scientific is very generous. That would be an apt description if the word "quackery" was added after the word scientific.
  13. I always defend the indefensible. There are so few of us true gullibleites left in the world. Paint gold or silver on it and I'm in. Wait until beanie babies make a come back. I will make hundreds of thousands. It is the reason I painted my wife's collection.
  14. I am starting to understand how some people have 60, 70, 80 or 90,000 comments. I have not run into any problems and I have been active a couple of weeks. I will try to find some things wrong so I can have a higher comment count. Are there prizes?
  15. The t was probably left out as an inside joke for you. I doubt it, because karma does exist, but it is possible. Misspelling is virulent sometimes.
  16. I think many purchasers probably feel using a CC (as opposed to cash/check/debit card) for auction purchases offers certain protections that would otherwise not be available. What percent add-on any perceived protections may be worth is up to the user to decide. I prefer to deal in cash in person. Auctions are fun, but not my preferred buying method. I like talking and bargaining and using the power of cash. Laying 3 $100.00 bills on the table in front of the seller is a pretty good motivator in place of a drab credit card, especially if the sellers's wife is there. I still believe that cash is king.
