  1. It is really our fault you know, for paying out money to go see this drek.
  2. I shouldn't have said this. I'm sorry I was way out of line here. I'm sorry You are right. I shouldn't have acted the way I did. There is no excuse. I'm sorry
  3. Recessions generally occur with a widespread drop in spending, and a pandemic can cause it. Not when people horde their product.
  4. So if ASM 300 is one of the most iconic books of the 80s, what does that mean for the 90s? It's a buyers market!
  5. Imagine having a bad back and leaning over to get one of those books?...KABOOM!
  6. Biology and existentialism wrapped up in one...A book could be written on this thread
  7. Interesting.... From what it sounds like, you made alot of poor choices in your life and are trying to rectify it through collecting. Well, best of luck to you
  8. I have had a sore throat for the past couple days. No dry cough/fever/lack of taste. But I have to say that after reading some of the conversations in this thread I vomited a few times. Freedom from an existentialist point of view is a choice, and should be considered different then "Free Will". In a situation like what we are seeing before our very eyes freedom needs some restrictions-personal and enforced. Most of us have the ability to choose between right and wrong, and this pandemic is not an argument of social Darwinism or some fairy tale from a comic book and it cannot be otherwise! anyone who suggests it is should take a long hard look at themselves and how they perceive the world. My immune system might be strong and not compromised, but I have the ability to choose to self isolate in order to protect those whose immune systems are. The true definition of strength is to posses the ability to destroy and yet choosing to save and when it comes to fairy tales like Marvel comics it is the difference between a hero and a villain.
  9. Loved Bane! Will Farrell is hilarious, ESPECIALLY ANCHORMAN! I also don't mind an Owen Wilson movie from time to time And of course Statham or DJ!
  10. Yeah, when I don't want to think about anything and watch things explode, it's Hobbs&Shaw for me. If it's a feel good, then I'll throw in Good Will Hunting
  11. Overall, but you can toss in some comic book related stuff too! Isolation has me watching paint peel!
  12. I've never really got on with space shows, but Patrick Stewart is a great thespian
  13. I've noticed you don't like alot of movies Bro! What movies do you like?
  14. Banks are looking quite crazy at the moment
  15. It's far worse then Stockholm Syndrome, as someone previously addressed. Stockholm syndrome is nothing more than the body's shock flooding the mind into a state of submission in very quick succession of one another, your position is one that has been nurtured over many years of systematic catering. GET OVER IT! These people "Perdition Comics" Are downright weasels who I imagine aren't even welcome to set up a booth in their own city at a show, let alone run a reputable LCS. The problem is that LCS's are a dying breed once the introduction to social media and online shopping was born. I can only recollect one thing that comes to mind, that scene from GoT where Cersei Lanister was paraded around the city as the deplorable Tyrant that she was.
  16. Exactly! Why wouldn't they be? You submitted your books through your local LCS "Perdition Comics" rather "Paradise Comics" (I've only wrote the real name because it should be made available to all) and have waited an entire year and have still not gotten them back. I imagine you have had numerous 'professional' interaction with this place of business and they have probably given you the runaround like "We will get back to you" "Send us an email with a listing of your books" "Your books should be here shortly, we are expecting a shipment from CGC soon" a bunch of fraudulent nonsense in my opinion and yet you have still remained in a state of skewed loyalty to I don't know what, your city, your LCS or most likely a code you have chosen to live by that has done nothing but drag you down and make your life unbearably miserable.
  17. How very poetic I am sure that is your defininition. Release the emails!
